Does son sell Common Avichaea Tags.

had 5 for 13 plat in his Daily Specials when I last looked, but I decided I would just wait a couple of days. I imagine they will reduce / change that requirement.
TBH, I did consider buying them, but thought I would rather not spend plat to solve the problem that DE themselves had made. offering them in a plat shop seemed a little insulting to me.

I don't know if this will help, but:

  • Don't use abilities to make them sleep - if they're anything like PoE's mergoo's (and they look real similar in behaviour and we know about DE's recycling tendencies) they'll likely fall and land while still in the sky. Best way is why the Tranq Rifle, despite also not being perfect.
  • After spawning them immediatly look into the sky with the rifle, try to see their glow as the rifle pulses. They'll either be hovering, or near a wall.
  • If needed go into Archwing mode, keep a safe distance, and tranq them. A bad capture won't really matter here. If they fall and stay in the air you can still claim them in Archwing mode.

Best luck either way! Until we have a better method.

Caught 5 of them just by looking up. They don't have that weird shiet where they fly in a circle or moving from tree to tree like that one pest in Fortuna. 

Look up, tranc and let it fall. 

That said the poo finding, tracking part seems to be a little more problematic than the other creatures but its easy enough imo.

Same problem here. 

I actually like conservation and I'm about ready to bash my head into the wall. This was supposed to be a chill activity it's just so unfun and awful who tested this trash. And they should have made sure common birds were actually common and not impossible to find even when you spend standing that sets you back a day on Helminth to find them and still it won't work because the system is bugged for one of the most important animals. 

Can't just have us do some conservation by getting a wide variety of some different animals, some rare, some common. Nope, they have to make us get specific ones and they aren't even properly farmable.

But without fixing the bugs first that make it hard to even force spawn this not at all common bird without it getting stuck in the wall? Yeah, that does look like not so great form indeed...

They asked so damn hard for it, because its so damn broken.

And even defenders have to say, selling this while its still broken appears to be conflict of interest. If they are making money, they have less incentive to fix it.

If you read his post that's exactly what he has been trying. 

And it's been getting stuck in the walls... same for me. Maybe I'll try Vauban but Cosmic Crush even from a distance murders the thing every time and I'm not sure Vauban wouldn't do the same thing. 

Might go beat up on The Profit Taker to take out my frustration and grab a copy of Magus Anomaly though, as a user above suggested. At rank 0 it has 5 meter pull range which should be enough to pull it through the clipped areas, as I am getting within like 1-3 meters like frustratingly close.

Go to cerebrum magna on the map, usually a poop spawn for em there. The actual nest is inside the structure almost always so you don't need to follow the foot steps, The bird spawn is usually pretty buggy and tends to get stuck in the giant red cyst on the structure but if you look through walls with the tranq rifle its not THAT bad.

I just did that one and reset cause every other spawn is incredible buggy.

I've actually gone and paid plat already. Not even for the right birds either. Saw "Avichaea" tags available, immediately bought them.

I bought the tags too. I tried running around randomly, I bought the Lure and tried calling, and still nothing. I didn't really wnat to buy the tags, but it was either that or spend god knows how long trying to find birds that don't seem to exist when I should be using my time to get other parts of the Deimos Grind done. I hope DE never pull this crap again, but judging by the grind, it seems DE really didn't learn much from previous open worlds.
