Traumtulpe Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 So I made a Panzer Vulpaphyla. There are issues (unsurprising). In case anyone is curious about its abilities; It spreads Viral status with mediocre range. Negligible damage. Spams messages (X is down! X has revived!) Displays its name where it was downed, despite its body disappearing. Also displays bleedout for a moment. Disappears in a small fiery explosion (doesn't look exactly organic). Abilities projectiles stick to far away from their target (they don't penetrate). Larva state unaffected by mods (Hunter Recovery / Animal Instinct turn off). Larva state is not invulnerable, dies easily (1 HP). Larva drops loot on death. Larva's ability seems weaker than the regular one (not sure). Ability has a different color. Larva does not enter the Rift when Limbo does. Does not enter the Rift upon revival either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Traumtulpe Posted August 28, 2020 Author Share Posted August 28, 2020 Invisibility has the same issues as Limbo's Rift: The Larva does not become invisible and will thus immediately die. The revived Vulpaphyla will also not be invisible, and thus immediately die - locking the companion in permanent death. There are also issues with experience gain, I just completed a Steel Path survival mission with the companion - yet it is still unranked. Also, the spores from it's ability do not carry over between Vulpaphyla and Larva, all spores immediately disappear on every transformation. Traumtulpe Posted August 28, 2020 Author Share Posted August 28, 2020 Not getting experience seems to be cause by the Larva state, I noticed my Vulpaphyla being displayed as rank 0 after reviving - despite being rank 7 before starting the mission. After the mission it is back to rank 7, without getting any experience. The ability (Viral Quills) needs improvements to targeting. At times, my companion was completely unable to hit enemies in front of him, even after several shots. At other times he was shooting straight into the ground. In addition to the general issues described above, its abilities are incredibly weak. Crescent Charge lifts a single enemy every ~17 seconds, for ~3 seconds. Special enemies (Juggernauts for example) are entirely unaffected. Crescent Devolution causes a ~1 second stagger in a very small area every ~10 seconds (until the 1 HP Larva dies). These are not even worth slots. The Crescent Vulpaphyla basically has no abilities, while the Panzer is actually quite good. Please urgently do something about this.
