How To Farm Stalker?

Question

Hey guys, I saw in the Update 9 there was a method to farm the stalker that after you do lots of bosses then if you do a Defence mission he was there... But this was a bug and it got fixed then.

In the update 10, is there a way to easy farm stalker's weapons or it's just RNG?

After you kill a boss (that isn't Captain Vor or a robot), there's a 5% chance that the Stalker will appear in any non-Assassinate mission that you're in, provided that your Frame is over level 5. Killing more bosses, having low-level gear, etc. don't alter this chance.

After either you or the Stalker kills the other, the spawn chance is wiped and you need to take out another boss to get it to reappear.

There are a lot of myths about Stalker spawn (killing more bosses = higher spawn chance, killing certain bosses = higher spawn chance, farming in Mercury = higher spawn chance, low-leveled Frame = higher spawn chance, etc.), but data extractions show that none of these play a role in spawn chance at all. Unless the algorithm was updated since the data encryption of 10.3, the above is how Stalker spawn mechanics currently work.

Basically, for "farming":

-Kill a boss

-Run through low-level missions as fast as you can on a Frame that's level 5+, preferably with a party of people who have not met Stalker since their last boss kill. I don't remember if each person's 5% spawn chance stacks with the others.

-Kill Stalker/get killed by Stalker when he appears

-Repeat

It's not efficient at all since he has a 5% spawn rate per mission, but it's really the best one can do. Most people just kill a boss and go do other missions that they need to do, and treat the Stalker as just a pleasant surprise.
