Lets talk Dokrahm

Greetings Tenno,

Im in dire need for an advice in building a zaw. Namely Dokrahm Heavy blade. Ive searched forums here, reddit and youtube for a build made after melee 3.0 armor scaling changes.
And found precisely none.
Im going to use it mostly for Steel Path and ESO. Maybe as a daily driver.
Ive made 2 builds below, and crit heavy one is over 2x times better!! Why? How? Is the site not accounting for something with status build?

Crit multiplies the damage of procs and many combos include forced procs, also I’m pretty sure organ shatter would be better than gladiator might there

These various warframe builder sites do not take into account things such as damage multipliers on individual attacks of each combo, stance's effect on your real attack speed and forced status procs for CO.

Blood Rush simply scales better off from higher base crit chance than Weeping Wounds does from higher base status chance. Tempo Royale also has forced impact procs regardless of your status chance, even if it was 0%. The status build builds too much into status. You would get better results with Primed Fever Strike and North Wind on that one, but it would still probably fall behind the crit build.

Even on a tank/buff Rhino with Gladiator Resolve and Gladiator Aegis?

Like the gentleman above said, crit tier is multiplicative while status chance "only" lets how many CO can proc.

And repeating the other gentleman, if you don't really want to proc slash, swapping Virulent Scourge with Primed Fever strike gives HUGE bonus to your DPS.

in that case organ shatter would be even more beneficial since the crit buff from gladiator might would be relatively lower

I have both (yep, I love great scythes, it was my main melee before update). And CO viral status build still feels much more better, then pure crit. Both without rivens.

Is this at 12x combo multiplier? Also do the builds utilize both Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds?

I have never cared about combo X 🙂

I said i would use it in ESO, therefore i would swap one mod for a mandatory in this case Healing Return.
How much status should i get then? Would 22% (or 66% at 12x combo) in a crit build suffice?

The only difference in both builds is the link. Mods can be swapped at will. What parts i should aim for then?

Which also leaves much open (what kind of build? mod setup, zaw parts, etc.)

To my understanding, the underlying issue the op has is: how do you build dokrahm post melee 3.0 and armor 2.0? Like what parts setup with what mod setup (ie. crit zaw and crit build OR crit zaw and status build OR crit zaw and hybrid build OR status zaw and crit build OR status zaw and status build OR status zaw and hybrid build OR whatever other configuration might be best for what's op is asking about - ESO/steel path/high level content).

And tbh, I'm wondering what would be the best setup myself.
