Deimos Vome/Fass cycles

The Vome/Fass cycle is the same as PoE's day/night cycle (same timers that switch at the same time) which means that Fass lasts 150 minutes and Vome lasts 50 minutes.

It's not a bug the timers only show the largest digit, i.e. if there is more than an hour it just shows 1 hour and not the minutes.

what is the point of this cycle? affects fishs and vome / fass waste ? anything else?

The point is that  if you wanna play just for farming the necrocrap and  you log at the wrong time, you have to wait 150 minutes and then play other 50 minutes as a mad to farm it. wasting 200 minutes(= +3 hours of your life wasted) in total, that's the only point.

Better place to farm this parts is doing vaults...got all things there.

Sorry but, if you have to wait 150 minutes it means you logged in when Fass has just risen and you have 150 minutes to deal with the iso vaults... Or am I missing something?

I'm genuinely asking cause I don't understand what they mean by "one wyrm cycle".

I still have to figure that myself but i don't understand why if i need a resource you can only find during vome, I have to wait 150 minutes (but to keep you glued to the screen for hours...)

Just do the vaults. They have the resources you are looking for. You can stay away from fishing and mining that way. Conservation? Just throw plat to The SON so he gives you the tags.

i tried conservation and the recall doesn't work at all,( i had lures and recall in gear wheel but nothing). I wasted 2 hours trying(beta testing) that... While if i shot them with a normal weapon i was able to capture them, i think it's  bugged.

Vaults do a "soft reset" when the worm changes, if you already completed some vaults, after the worm changes you will have to start from the 1st difficulty again, altho vaults with opened main gate will skip that stage next time.

Why is it called fass and vome instead of day and night?

because those are  the names of the great Wyrms...there's no "day" or"night", the light that allows you to see comes from the great Wyrms. a lot of the stuff on Deimos has to do with the Requiem Void Words, the Void Pillars and the locks on Isolation Vaults as well. there's also a backroom in the Necralisk where, as you rank up Entrati & Necroloid faction standing, you unlock lore fragments that tell you what the words mean.

Vome and Fass serve no purpose other than punishing users for logging in and playing Isolation Vaults close to the end of a cycle.

I don't see any difference playing Isolation Vaults during Vome or during Fass. Just as long as you complete T1 through T3 in one cycle. If you start too late in a cycle, your incomplete T2 or T3 will revert to T1.

If only the “Haha” Reaction stayed

True story, when I was little, my dad took me to a place like that, he showed me these huge white mounds and asked if I knew what it was, I was all excited and said that I did. He didn't believe me and asked what it was. I said "snow". (I live in the tropics, a big white pile, in my mind, was the thing I'd only seen on the Television and in books.) He laughed and said it was salt, but I didn't believe him. Salt was stuff you put in food, there was no way that mountain was salt, it was snow. He walked me over to it and told me to taste it. I did, and said that I couldn't believe that there was that much salt in the whole world.

But having been on this forum for a few years, I can now see how very, very wrong I was.
