446 Weapons, But a Max of 90 Rivins?

So, I recently maxed out at my 15 Rivin max, and learned that I can buy Rivin slots in groups of three, for 20 plat a spot. With a max of 90 rivin slots.

If that's true, then I can't have a rivin for every weapon I own, as according to the Fandom page, there are 446 weapons, excluding modular ones.

Now, I'm sure a good chunk are also primed, and prisimed, and wraths, and vandels, and such. I'm not able to find a count of weapons that counts a Primed and Wrath as the same.

But, still, me, the collector... I won't be able to have one Rivin per weapon? (Or more!?)

You can make any request you want, doesn't mean it isn't unrealistic or out of line. 

They've increased the amount and may do it again, but you simply don't need 500 riven slots.

Yea but they do it at small increments at a time. By the time they get to 300 even, it's gonna be a long time.

There was at least one mention from a dev mentioning that one slot per weapon might be a possibility. But considering that we do have hundreds of weapons and they're only going to continue to add more it doesn't seem realistic that they would go through with that idea.

And really nobody in their right mind is going to have a need for over 400 Rivens let alone the 150 you can have with the actual capacity cap. It's just hoarding at the cost of database strain and increasing loading times for your account.

More than once before. In fact, the information you have is outdated - according to the wiki, you can currently have up to 150.

The problem is twofold. For one, you're intended to have them for your favourite weapons to bring them up to snuff and viability. For another, rivens are notorious for putting strain on DE's player data servers, as there's a lot of variables in each one.

But, collectors don't collect things because they 'use' them... for anything other than to collect.

No, they hoard them to create a riven market monopoly and manipulate their prices to the point of total madness.

Rivens aren’t necessary. So there’s no reason to have a riven for every weapon.

Really, whats with you guys?  If you don't like rivens, that's cool, you can choose to play the way that suits you and not use them.  

Other players however love their rivens, and that's cool too.  Considering a player having a riven on a weapon doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever,  you've no grounds to whine about it.

Same goes for collectors.  This game is all about collecting stuff, why not rivens?  Wanting to have a big riven collection does not mean you're part of some riven mafia, that's ludicrous. 

Personally,  I've got about 120 rivens and spent a fair amount of plat gathering them, thereby helping the in game economy.  Ive got some weapons that I have 2-3 rivens for for different builds.  Ive spent hundreds of hours grinding kuva, keeping me engaged with the game when their was nothing else that interested me.

To the op, have fun with your rivens, thats what they're for.   There's no rush though so take your time and collect rivens for the weapons that you like most/ are important to you.  The cap will gradually increase, and if you're only at 15 atm, you've a ways to go until its a problem for you.

I’m sure many people would like to have more riven slots, I myself would rather have more load out slots. So many frames so little load outs.

I think there is a third as many true unique, non variant weapons. So, 90 riven slots is not far off. Sorry, if this point has already been made.

How long would you have to play Warframe to collect, rank up and roll for something decent for all the almost 450 weapons you have, and by then wouldn't there be more weapons by then? Even if you could have unlimited rivens aren't you kind of setting yourself an almost impossible goal?
