Isolation Vaults Ruin the game

As the name implies but more specifically the necramechs. They spam their version of Iron skin (which i found out after they pop that, any damage you do ups that protection) right after I take it down. It's gotten to the point where I have to back off the first 5s away from the mech when i see them pop their iron skin & then attack afterwards. I feel I am forced to play as wukong to actually get any progress done towards the Necraloid Syndicate as you need to do Tier 2 & Tier 3 vaults to get the matrix from the mechs. DE needs to limit the mechs ability usage on their iron skin or prevent the AI from using ironskin at all. I don't mind the slow grenade or the grenade spam but this is dumb. I can't play any of the warframes I enjoy (I enjoy wukong but if i'm forced to use him, it ruins the fun for me). Please do something about this.

Or, you know, time your attack to ensure the minimum storm shroud health gain instead of attacking like mad. What's wrong with a predecessor of warframe being able to spam abilities like us? Now at least you have to time your attack against enemies close at your power level and I can do that with any Warframe

I saw that hitting them with Void Dash or the Amp disables it.

So Void Damage might drain its timer?

While this is true, DE literally copy/pasted iron skin onto these mechs. So its mainly about the damage you do. I did try using my amp but it took me about 10 - 20 shots to bring it down when i could take the shield down with 1-3 of wukongs 3rd ability as it spams grenades at me.

I don't mind it using the ability, its when it spams it & makes it frustrating.

I take it down which is good but they can just bring it back up Instantly, also to clarify, I drove the hidden Necramech in the vault to fight it & found out they have ironskin ability because I used it when i was in the necramech & while their spam grenades hit me, i hit the thousands with my ironskin.

It ruins the game... for you. They're super fun for me.

Also, how is it ruining the game? Have you played any video game? If you can't adapt to your enemies, that's not the game's fault.

Look, I'm known in this community as that d*ck who doesn't like balance or challenge, but even I know how to change my strategies if my enemy isn't reacting. That's video games 101.

No duh. I have stated that I feel forced to use wukong as it is the only way it works for me

Yeah, meta exists, best builds for stuff exist... you're not forced, you're just unwilling to leave your comfort zone. But that doesn't mean the game only works with Wukong. I use Mirage against them. She's a glass cannon, and I die at least twice every single T1 to T3 run. Does it matter to me? Heck no, I'm having fun. I could just pick up Inaros or Loki and not give a damn. But I prefer my glass cannon. Yet even with that being my comfort zone, I imagine a lot of other frames can work as well, I just need to bother building them for that.

So again, you're not forced. You just don't wanna invest into anything else. That's not the game's fault.

They're weird in general. When I first encountered them they wiped the floor with me. Now I'm using the same weapons and take them out pretty easily so I don't know if they were glitched out before the fixes or what. I can get one shot every now and then but I'm deleting their HP more consistently rather than saying "Wtf" as I lose my revives.

I rarely use Wukong so I don't understand how Wukong is my comfort zone, as for meta builds, if it works then I guess its a meta build.

I don't know, I did this as Octavia (who isn't the most tanky) and was fine. You can apparently shoot them in the back when they use the iron skin thing to stop it.

There's something janky about them. Sometimes I kill them in seconds, other times it's like their weak points are completely random.

What I have found on this: the host has a lot of trouble with damage, the client doesn't. DE could have fixed this by now, I am not sure. Generally, I can kill them in 1 - 3 hits, depending on crits/range etc.

I agree. I mainly have a problem with the fact that I finally take down their protection shield & they can instantly put it back up. There has to be a cooldown or something with that ability. I am only using Wukong because of the radius for his 3rd ability & all the damage he absorbs I can toss back at the mech (around 500k - 1mil) & its insane because I have tried rhino's stomp so I can get to his weakspot, that doesn't work because the mech breaks out of the ability within 2s, I have tried limbo to stasis him, nothing. I don't know any other warframe to do it with.

I just use Octavia and let them shred themselves.

Also, if you can manage to get behind them, they have a weakspot that is open even during their shroud.

Unfortunately I don't have octavia, I want to use Baruuk but i doubt even he will work.

I just wish their weak points weren't so tiny, and their nullification aura was less janky. Their attacks hit hard, but the environment is filled with cover, so I'm only dead if I actually screw up. I honestly have no idea what part of their back is the actual weak point, it all looks like armor to me

The trick is to use something invisible so that they face away from you. Heck, if you have a good enough Amp you could use your warframe as bait and hit them from behind with an operator.

I also used Ivara, and while needing to use an amp to drop their shields was annoying, it was otherwise really easy. One shot for each of their arms and then another to down them.

The secondary Catchmoon, the Fulmin, and anything else with multi-hit and punchthrough works really well against them. Use Radiation unless you are going to strip their armor somehow.

I guess you can use shattering impact to strip their armor. idk if its worth it.

Bring high damage per hit weapons. This can take them out before they use their shield, or at least make more progress with their health before they shield up.

Or use Revenant, Wukong, Octavia... im sure there are others. Might try Baruuk.

Oh also I'd imagine hitting their weakpoints is more reliable if you're host.

Best I can tell, it's basically anything except the sarcophagus, legs and frontal armour. You can even hit the back weakpoint from the front if you get the right angle.

My main issue is that it's not good to make an enemy that you need to hit in the back able to turn on a dime.

Storm Shroud has no timer. Void dash gets disabled if you use it near an enemy necramech. The amp does not disable the shield. Only way to disable it is to deal damage to it, which of course, results in you taking damage (reflection damage). Only way to avoid this is:

1. One-shot them before they can use the shield

2. Let the infested enemies attack him to break the shield

3. Use warframes with invulnerability or special shields (iron skin for example) to survive the damage reflection

4. Use a k-drive. One of k-drives mods is it makes you invulnerable for 5 seconds. Use those 5 seconds to shoot the mecha with your secondary to break his shield.

5. (special) Use octavia or other warframes (Like wukong) with special reflective abilities, like mallet, to make the fight as easy as possible.
