Necramech Rank

What's the best way to rank up necramech? I've ran 3 vault and did a pretty long endless mission on deimos but my necramech rank is still at 5 but my friend ranked up to around 10.

So far I had the less tedious experience while farming toroids at the temple of profit in orb vallis, make sure you dont destroy the reinforcement antennas so enemies keep spawning

How much were you able to rank up in what time?

I went from 0 to 10 in about half an hour, granted there are probably best methods but this is so far the least boring and slow for me

There's also a bug that seems to affect Clients the most.
If the Necramech despawns for ANY reason, be it resummoning, destruction, or a Host Migration, ALL affinity will be lost.
DE addressed this in the latest Hotfix, but it's basically confirmed that Clients still tend to have this issue. The host has a much better time leveling theirs, but there is still a much smaller chance that it'll occur.
As for leveling the mech, I have been told that if you have access to the Profit-Taker, the minions that spawn during the fight can give you quick affinity for the Necramech. If you don't have Profit-Taker, I would say either continue grinding Isolation Vaults or do what BluKiddo suggested.

Oh god I was wondering why everytime i respawn my necra the abilities are locked again and my rank went down. Hopefully theyll fix it soon

I had to summon it and let it get destroyed, then summon it again to gain experience.

thats funny, but i actually found that if my mech was destroyed by damage i managed to keep the affinity. the biggest slog was 0-9, after that its relatively easy.
