just a guess, but it might be because of the weapon the necramech comes with, the mausolon is a monster

Did you see the 4th ability? The siege mode?

Damage cap on every single shot. The Mausolon is wonderful, but the Arquebex is the real monster

true, but you can only use it on the open worlds (at least for now....) that being said i havent had a chance to really spend time on really putting effort into my necramech build yet, but now im even more excited to minmax this sucker

Yeah, the only problem will be doors, except in the Void where they are gigantic, it's gonna be more reliable to just use our frames

But that's not really a bad thing, having every player in a squad use Mechs all the time could be boring & redundant very quickly

Mine is still building, 2 days left, I just saw some gameplay where they are complete beasts, like Potato if you haven't seen it yet

As it should be. I still think that the reduction of MR for the Helminth system wasnt necessary. Theres still so much going on at MR8 that your never going to be able to seriously engage with it if your a newer player. MR8 is easily acquired.

This update was intended to be more of a veteran experience. So having items at that MR requirement should be the intention.

Got no issues with it at all.

Yeah I think mr locks are ridiculous in my view. Their are  low rank players out their that can surpass and out play high mr players. I mean do you see mr locks on the roleplayiest and Kuva linchs no. Level locks I think should not exist in any rpg and open world type game we’re thinks are not limited. It’s like in fallout I kill an op enemy and my reward should be to get the gear from that enemy but I can’t because theirs a level lock on it. See what I mean.

MR in no way shows a players ability or lack thereof it just means you've leveled things. That's it. I've seen max MR players be completely inept, just like lower MR players not requiring any help.

If you think MR gauges a player. That's just elitist. That's all MR really is. But do I think new  players should have access to HoD or the Helmith system or mechs?

Absolutely not: it's not for them yet. They have enough to get through at this point in the games life as it is. MR isnt perfect and honestly it's an old system that shows Warframes age, But I do agree that MR locks are a necessary evil. If you throw new players into a system like Helminth youd turn them right off the game as in the beginning it dose not hold your hand already as it is. It would just turn new players off even more.

But having access to HoD will at least give them a taste for what will be available later on.
