Animal conservation

So, I'm seeing it ALL over the forums ALL over again, just like back when it first came about in Fortuna, and I want to throw in my 2 cents on this... because I wanna make sure the devs know.

I personally enjoy the conservation content, and did from the start. (I'm still wishing Bolarolas were companion pets, complete with a "Sonic dash" move!)

A lot of people hate it because it's not the fast-paced slaughterhouse that the rest of the game is, but... frankly, I like it specifically for that reason. It's a change of pace. Sure, I'm a bad-ass space ninja wielding Void magic and yet... here I am capturing beasts with tranq darts.

But I like that it's a feature that forces me to slow down and pay attention to where I'm going, and how I go about taking down my target. It's not about damage and health and moving as quick as possible, but about stalking my prey and figuring out how to take it down without killing it, while NOT getting caught up in other fights, and...

Well, it's just a different sort of challenge. It's a break to the monotony so we don't get burned out.

It's also really really cool that some of the animals we capture can be turned into our own companions to use in combat.
It makes the feature much more immersive. I'm glad that was included with Deimos, and I hope it's expanded on for other open world areas. (Again, Bolarolas... just think about it!)

I can get why the content may not be for you, but.... come on guys, let's not get all rage-monster about it, yeah?

I will add this much: I do wish that instead of following tracks which aren't very easy to see due to terrain sometimes... we were following, say... "scent clouds" or something. Just floaty little poofs of glowing colored clouds hovering slightly over the ground that our Tenno senses allow us to see. This was how Witcher 3 had the player track down monsters, and it was much more intuitive, and... much less aggravating.
(The "scat" we follow almost works like this right now)

Please tell me how to move further ranks without paying for avichea tags or hunting them? Animal tags even needed for gilding...Since when the solution for these kind of problems become :"don't play that". I understand you may like the system. I never told remove it completely from the game. Just take it off my way so i can keep shooting things. You already get your rewards which is plushies or something. Which i never cared for.

They'll probably add the tags to buy for Platinum later like they always do. The update literally came a few days ago.

Pretty sure I've already seen that you can buy avichea tags for plat.  There's tons of systems in the game I don't care for much (hello Focus and modular weapons) so I don't interact with them.  Conservation is definitely different and I can see how it's not for everyone.  And yeah, it could use some UX and QoL improvements, but honestly, other than the wackadoo costs from before the hotfixes, and the one avichea spawn being super busted, it's not that bad at all.

Like, I just finished getting max rank with Fortuna and it took a jillion bounties to get the Advances and Familial bonds for the last 2 ranks.

Vox Solaris I'm still a babby because I don't like grouping with randos much for farming and find toroids solo sucks.

Hitting max rank with the 3 regular syndicates took a bunch of credits and rare drops from relics that I had a devil of a time getting 1 of, much less a second so that I can build the dang thing.
