AreeSoothsayer Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 Wouldn't it be cool if some of the abilities that Helminth can share from warframes can merge with abilities of certain other warframes to make a new, unique, ability? Cobalt313 Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 I feel like the best way to handle this would be to add a "Hybridize Strains" option to the Helminth interface menu that lets you attempt to combine unlocked or Subsumed abilities at a minor cost of Secretions, some combinations will unlock new abilities based on the combination you chose (e.g. Frost's Ice Wave and Ember's Fireball creates "Thermoshock", a Blast-damage cone). Only some combinations will produce new abilities, the rest will just waste the resources and/or produce some kind of default "failure" output. Im sure its the next thing. We have, Melee, Secondary, Primary, Pets, 1 frame ability, Archwing is coming, and last will be Full frame. In general, locking new things behind MR is an awful idea, the only ones I can understand are the Helminth System (because its pretty complex) certain weaponry and mechanics and systems like Kuva Lich's. After roughly MR10-12, it just becomes a number to show how much useless junk you've used and will never touch again really.
