What happened to alerts?

3 weeks ago i returned to play warframe and one of the things i noticed was the lack of alerts because i remember that in the past almost always there would be more than 3 alerts, this alerts were very good since the rewards for them were useful rare resources.

So i wonder what happened?

alert rewards are basically all in the nightwave cred store

Nightwave replaced it. There are only special alerts every now and then (usually after DE livestream).

With the change from Alerts to Nightwave, you no longer have to wait for the proper alert to turn up for Nitain, or whatever you need. They are there all the time in the Nora Store. It's a much better way of doing things, and most of the things are done whilst you are playing normally anyway.

Nitain, kuva and probably few more stay but mods don't (for example).

Unless you want many things then it's not so better.
