(PSN)zj0ker20 Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 Now that we have the Heart of Deimos, I thought it was time to ask a question I previously asked shortly after the release of Fortuna: What do you guys want to see in a future open world area in Warframe? For me, maybe a water world of Uranus with island chains and a Sharkwing re-work, or the Red Deserts of Mars where we can raid Orokin tombs (admittedly we can kinda do this on Deimos but the point stands.) Personally, I want it to feel like a traditional MMO open world where players can come in and go out as they please but I doubt it would happen because it requires significant rework of the game mechanics and DE needs to personally host it. (XBOX)Cram Duahcim Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 I only see 1 or 2 more being developed. After Planes of Duvri I can see a Sentient open world happening. I dont see an open world happening for every planet on the star chart. But what I do see happening is a Tau star chart expansion with its own open world on it. It gives us big changes for operator and that is 1 big thing that we need in a game a big change that we can play for long long run....Because right now what we got its amazing, but its start to get little known and already seen before so in a week im probably going to bee done with this update... Duviri is not Orokin-themed. But I think the next actual open world should be an Orokin relay that allows for Railjack missions and away missions to be the next open wold experience added. We've been space ninja long enough...Let me get in on some space piracy now too. The upside to that is that it won't take anywhere close to as much work as Cambion drift or the other OW locations have and ship models already exist ( I wouldn't complain if they added more). They just need a spaceport that's not tenno derived ( a relay that resembles Fortuna to some degree would be welcome), merchants to buy and sell stuff, and the assorted faction pieces that allow us to grind rep (all of which exist already as well) We basically just need some opposing pirate factions we can choose to align with to send us on missions.
