Thsumic Distilate cost requirements and use requirements.

Hello,

After talking to fellow clan members I would like to say that thaumic is too rare of a resource for how much it costs to build and use in other builds, when building my nechramech I noticed you need 80 thaumic distillate, almost the same amount as tempered bapholite which is 100, also to make thaumic distillate you need 20 thaumic, which is the same amount needed to make tempered bapholite.

DE needs to either lower the cost to make thaumic distillate and the amount its needed to make things OR DE needs to increase the amount of thaumic you get. Do you agree or nah?

I have heard that a lot of people have gotten thaumic from the requiem pillars. Some people claiming to get 60 in an hour or so. But I haven't got a single one from them...and doing vaults has not yielded many for me (About 16 from doing an entire days worth of them). I might be extremely unlucky when it comes to this but I still need another 60 if I want to complete my mech.

Apparently the trick with requim pillars *might* be that you need to kill enemies with void damage.  So you either need to be playing Xaku, or switch to Spoiler Mode and bwomp lower level enemies with your amp next to the pillar.   It's hard to tell even exactly what's going on, especially if (like me) you have no idea which of the nonsense-named and frustratingly similar looking runes is which.

Just do the pillars or the yellow ores in caves

Yeah I just tried doing it in spoiler Mode and it does indeed drop more resources....note don't bring umbra

Grinding Thaumic isn't too bad if you multi-task. The vault bounty caves generate ore veins just like any other. I did a lot of mining while waiting for loid to decode the vault key or letting the toxin level decrease, and had enough by the time I collected all the necramech parts.
