Deimos Bounty - Invulnerable Tumors

I've encountered the bug twice where the Deimos bounty requires three tumors to be destroyed. The tumors are invulnerable and never become vulnerable no matter how many enemies are killed, thus making the bounty impossible to complete. The timer runs out and you fail the bounty. I encountered the same bug in a group and solo.

Okay this is a really stupid mechanic for DE but you don't actually kill the tumor wrapped in vines.
It will shoot out 3 trails of fire.
Each of these will lead you to the tumor that you have to destroy.

So get into your archwing and follow the fire trails and destroy the target they point to.

There's a small chance the issue is that they know how to do the bounty but aren't used to the new BS they added to it.  The 3 tumors you have to break to open the cache tumor now have a shield around them.  You don't break the shield, you just move inside it and shoot the tumor from the inside.  You can move through it fine, you just can't shoot through it.  Because DE is petty af.

Was there any need for them to add the shield on the tumors to make you fly to each tumor instead of letting us shoot them from the air?  Especially when they took the time and resources to get the VA's to do more lines just for this nerf?  Meanwhile the rest of the open world bounties are still crap and they could have devoted those resources to rebalancing and fixing issues many players have with them, there are still huge amounts of bugs just with open world bounties they could have been fixing, and this was literally one of the only bounty stages people were actually happy to get because it wasn't this tedious slog of waiting for RNG to let you proceed with the next step.  That they took the time to make it worse on purpose and went so far as to devote enough resources to adding more voice lines instead of just leaving it the hell alone and fixing things players actually wanted fixed is a textbook example of spiteful pettiness.  

So yeah, there was a need for it.

You can still shoot it from the air.  You just have to fly down to it and get close.  Then you can fly back up and find the next spot.  It's not a big deal, and I can't believe that your blood pressure is thankful for all the anger you evidently have towards DE and WF.
