The Empower Ability

can we please have this be made into a 'Channeled' ability? that just stays active as long as we keep repeating the same ability we wanted to empower?

(decrements energy supply for each use, just make it auto apply without having to re-select Empower between uses)

 

I realize that for PC users, where each ability is its own button this isn't a big deal

but for Console Folks, rapidly activating different abilities in sequence is a major PITA when you do it from a quickmenu instead of separate keys...

Ooh thats not a bad idea. Make it work like equinox where you toggle it on for no cost but casting another ability incurs its cost. Basically an ability overdrive toggle.

The fact that this works endlessly for channeled abilities doesn't make this ability the best for it. Most channeled abilities are exalted melee weapons that will benefit from the larva more. Titania and Mesa win a lot from pistol arcanes so it's logical to give them an ability that will solve energy problems and allow them to abandon arcane energize. The rest will benefit from roar more than a simple 50% strength. I think it's actually useless for channeled abilities. But I put this on my Wisp for that build with maximum buffs that I never use. This ability is more likely for characters with large party buffs. The same rhino will benefit a lot from this.
