Necramech Mod Capacity

I know this issue won't talk to everyone, Deimos being only 5 days old, but every player who crafted his mech and started formating it will know what I'm talking about.

With 12 slots and only 60 mod capacity, it is, even with a polarity on EVERY slot (Try a build simulator, you'll see) impossible to fully mod it with maxed mods.

This way of apprehending your build works with railjack because 1. It is still possible if you want to go this way / 2. There is pros going the other way (Like reactors giving you more flux for empty slots)

But with necramechs there was absolutely no reason to give us that many slots if there is no way to fully mod it.

And I know that it is still kind of possible to do it if you don't max your mods and let them rank 4 out of 10, but who really enjoys doing that ?

Necramech should be able to reach rank 40, from the get go or in a similar fashion than kuva weapons (+2 per format).

...Honestly the mods are so rare it feels extra pointless right now.

I only have the Armor boost and the Melee Attack Speed boost mods, they just don't drop often enough imo.

Edit: Apparently the mechs themselves only drop 5 out of 16 supposed total mods? What the hek DE?

Yeah the mod drops are quite ridiculous but it doesn't change the issue.

Once it's resolved (or once everyone will succumb to the farm and/or the market, like for archwing mods) we should be able to fully mod our lovable murder machine

16 of them and a 10% chance to get any to drop is a pain.

It is even worse than that, for some reason the offical drop table from DE doesn't list more than 5 mods, so 11 of them seem to be unobtainable at the moment, however I somehow found Necramech Steel Fiber which isn't on the official drop table link so they could be unlisted?

I honestly don't know at this point. It seems like Archwing all over again with basic mods being hard to get for no reason.

My theory is that each tier of necramech has its own drop table, since the one listed shows the t2 matrix rep reward in its table.

That would fit DE's needless complexity fetish quite well.

I can't remember if the Steel Fiber I got dropped from tier one or two, but if it were two that would give credence to the theroy.

Pretty sure there is no such thing.

I got an Necramech Intensify (Gold mod) on Tier 1.

Anyway DE needs to fix the whole Necramech thing, would it be bugs, mod drops or capacity.

I quite frankly love them, they are really fun and I hope it will not only be a Deimos thing but that future high level content too hard for warframes will be built around them.

What's the point of owning a millions damage dealing powerhouse otherwise

I agree, though I would like some safeguard to them spamming the reflector shields the moment they go down multiple times in a row.

That's the only thing I don't like about them, well that and the lack of clarity for the range of the slow effect, one small circle but the actual radius is 5 times the size of the circle with no clear lines.

This problem probably doesn't tie to yours but as I noticed at rank 20 the mech doesn't gain a single mod capacity it stays at 40/40 and the maximum as we all know is 60/60 and I haven't been paying attention on what rank the mech starts getting more mod capacity and this is my 3rd or 4th forma I've installed. So whether increase the rank or not DE could also increase the mod capacity where it increases to 70/70 or higher and filling it between rank 1-20 mod capacity.
