Achivaea tags

so, yeah, ive seen a bunch of people posting about this, but i dont see it here, so im adding my issue.

the rank up requirement of 5 common achivaea tags is seemingly impossible to complete. im going on at least 5 hours of trying for this and they just dont show up. sometimes...the tracks dont lead to anything, but thats not really the problem.

the issue is that after following the tracks and using the lure....nothing happens. i know....they are birds and they are in the sky...except they arent. ive had about 15 in a row simply never show up. yes...ive seen people saying they sometimes spawn inside walls or whatever, which is a problem in itself...but im talking about out in the open...no caves no walls no nothing...just open space...and they still never spawn.

im sitting at rank 2 now for 2 days because of this....and im spending hours and hours doing mind-numbingly boring conservation missions (which i HATE, btw...seriously...theyre just terrible), and i cant progress past this because they simply wont spawn in. ive been doing these non stop and have only got 1......we need 5 of them. at this rate ill maybe have what i need by next weekend....maybe.

 

whos ides was it to NOT have them just land near the call spot?

now i just had one where the tracks simply disappeared WHILE i was following them. i dont mean i lost them, or they didnt lead to anything...i mean they disappeared. as in they were there, glowing one second...and were gone the next. i even went back to the start point and the pile of stuff was also gone.

come on.

lol...upon further inspection...even the little paw print on the map is gone. so the whole thing just vanished as i was trying to do it? thats great. add that to the start locations that are inside the terrain...or floating in mid air.

lol...how many bugs can one mission type have?

heres the new installment....

 

if you have already tracked and used a lure and are looking for the achivaea....and you happen across a different animal, if you tranq that animal and have it recovered....the avichaea and all its tracks and its call point AAAND its pile of stuff you used to start it the hunt...all go away. this forces you to leave the mission and have to start over...meaning you have to exit the entire map...because theres only the one "reliable" place to hunt the birds in the first place.
