Cannot drop explosive in Raptor Fight on Europa when only melee equipped

Due to not being able to switch to anything, you cannot seem to drop it when you only have a melee equipped, meaning you need to kill the raptor above the chute to complete the mission.

I haven't done the sortie yet, but did you try heavy melee? I feel like this was a change a while ago and I noticed it while farming for a Nova recently.
