Cost of Bile too high?

Compared to all of the other resource pools the Bile one seems to be the most costly only due to the majority of resources requiring Railjack resources it seems to be a common complaint. Railjack resources with a double drop are still not easy to acquire in the amount of quantity the helminth desires 15,000 copernics i barely have 12k and i am lvl 8 7 8 6 on intrinsic thats A LOT of time for something that will go away in one bite.

No it's just meant for players who have played a long time. You have 12k copernics whereas I have 400k. It's meant as a resource sink for veterans and designed to slow down or halt newer players.

Veteran to the game or to railjack? Im mr29 im nto quite sure how one gets THAT much resources in railjack unless im missing some sort of trick?

I think the real issue is more with Fresnels. Isos are easily more common than Fresnels, and only need 400. Where Fresnels need 1k.

Argon crystals are a thing, use em.

Although yh the bile economy is broken because de seems to have forgotten railjack hasn't been out for 7 years like the rest

Yeh are out of whack a bit, the biggest one for me was asterite. But just ignore those ones and use the other options like argon crystals as suggested above.

Oh, I wasn't really complaining. I've had no issues, it just felt like an odd decision.

Well, some RJ resources are common, Copernics/Pustrels/Diodes/Carbides are far more common and even drop out of Railjack, they're also not really used as much. But Titanium/Fresnels/Asterite having their costs make no sense. Even after feeding the helmenth several times, I still have nearly 300k Copernics and 400k of the other common drops without farming Railjack excessively, got to all 10 (partly through the first affinity event) and stopped ages ago. Meanwhile I have 2k Fresnels and only fed them once.

Either way, you can spam feed Helminth what he doesn't like. For Bile I just go with Argon Crystals when I had them (Vaults drop them), otherwise I just spam Morphics and Thermal Sludge due to low cost vs the amount I have.

There's a big difference between being MR 29 and farming properly in the game. MR doesn't mean much, I know people who have started new accounts and blitzed to MR 20+ in mere weeks. Doesn't mean they have a huge supply of resources though.

i know but the rest seems fair considering i have over millions in the other pools but this one only due to the amount of RJ resources where as i can have enough nano spores, alloy plates, salvage, etc just maybe move one into bile? idk. The common resources all apply to everywhere else but that one. It makes the entire balance of the system seem alittle off. Aside that the system seems fine overall. Again ill just do argon i guess because i don't really wanna do railjack considering the lack of incentive there is since lich's don't exist there so no fun fights and it seems reaaalllyyy slow gaining the amount of resources for again ONE bite. I'd have to siff through meteor fields with the shield ability on a railjack for an entire day to accumulate maybe around 10k only to use it for maybe 1 subsume.

If you ever do Arbitrations you will get THOUSANDS of copernics, carbides etc, that's where most of mine are from.

Bile is definitely the odd one out. Its comprised mostly of resources that the only way to get them is to actively seek them out with there being 0 reason to have done so, or have disproportionate costs. At least for the most part. Theres too few that are more readily and passively available that once you feed them the ones you do have, you jave to fight against his cravings since you dont have enough of the sparse materials to change that.

Railjack resources being the obvious stand out. I played a ton of RJ when it came out and a fair bit with the revisited and only have like 70k copernics. At 15k a pop thats not worth it at all for reasons Ill mention next. I also dont even have enough frensels for a single feeding in all that time.

The other resources are things you would never want to go back for and as a result will just get depleted and ignored because if the hassle. This leads into the issue mentioned where many of these super limited in use resources just end up not being able to be used much and as a result trying to restore the unfavored foods you have more of back to normal levels is a giant pain.

Example, somatic fibers. I have 0 reason to bother with lua disruption and havent for a while. Well I suppose I do now but consdiering its 10 for a single feeding, definitely a lot of effort to try and accumulate now considering how many it would take to either balance out the hated foods or brute force it. Same goes with diluted thermia, I did the event a good bit and helped 4 different friends reach max rank in the event. I basically ran out of it all now just feeding it when he wanted it and/or trying to make him want some foods again.

Bile is just such a weird one because of the choices we have for it. Theres almost nothing there you can reasobaly just gather by doing other things like with nanospores, mutsge samplea, or neurodes. Outside of railjack materials but its definitely a disproportionate trade from my experience. You pretty much have to dedicatedly farm for bile materials because of it while every other secretion has way more open options.

Which makes me glad i now have some subsumed/helminth abilities that dont require bile now so I can just force feed it the millions of nanospores and thousands of fieldron I have with impunity. 

Which I guess bring up an issue with the helminth system in that from what I gathered, feeding him foods he likes to counter ones he doesnt seems to do jack all and I find myself more or less just brute forcing it with all my vast materials. I could feed him 2 things he really wants and it would set back like 25% progress on the things he hated while those 2 things have either gone neutral or negative.

Juggernauts are super common in Deimos. If I recall correctly the resources they drop are guaranteed drops and are worth a ton of bile to helminth.

I've been keeping up on bile because I test builds in Mot after I add an ability with helminth. Currently I'm rank 10 helminth with 100% bile and 50+ argon left. 

It was rough ranking up quickly but once I hit rank 8 it wasn't a problem any more.

Railjack is quite new addition in the lifespan of the game, and unpopular gamemode. Cant really pull veteran card on this. I have millions of other resources but only a handful of railjack ones as well at MR27.
