(PSN)Raven-Ghosthawk
Not sure why this happens, but it does sometimes. I thought this was a button issue, but after a mission where it does occur, my buttons work just fine. This may happen with or without the Warframe, but it definitely happens with the chatbox. When it's the Warframe, you have camera control but cannot use weapons; Operator may also be inaccessible. Chatbox (via L2 on PS4) in mission may be standalone issue, or it may directly follow the previous; it's also usually accompanied by a lockout from the menu so that I cannot open the menu to open the chatbox. The constant is that it isn't accessible when it should be. For instance, if I'm bleeding out and need to tell the guy to prioritize someone else (like a hostage) over me. If I need to stop and broadcast something urgent (like "mark Stalker", etc.), I need to open menu before I can access the chatbox. This isn't a new issue, but it's something I forgot to mention till it popped up sometime in the past two days. Unfortunately, amidst all the runs I've been doing, I cannot tell exactly when. At the least, I think this kinda needs looking at because not everyone uses a mic for varying reasons PSN messaging is not always doable due to some folks' privacy settings preventing messages from being sent -- at which point, it might be too late anyway squad chat is the only thing really connecting the group, even if it's one where everyone is speaking a completely different language. Yes, actually had that happen -- English/French/German/Spanish. Guess which one I was.
(PSN)Raven-Ghosthawk
Happened today during Arbitration (Infested Survival). Symptoms included: Operator unableto amp enemies Chatbox inaccessible during respawn screen; is primary method of access during mission Menu could not be accessed during respawn screen; is alternative method to open chatbox Lucky thing the remainder of my squad didn't have a privacy lock on PSN messages, so I was able to message them that I was good for extract, and that I would've messaged them in-game thru squad if not for being locked out of it. Chatbox inaccessibility is not a new issue. Given that 1) not everyone is comfortable on mic, 2) in-game squad text is the primary method of communication for most, and 3) privacy settings may prevent some from receiving a PSN message (as an alternative, this seems an urgent thing to look into.
