old Kavat skins on the new Deimos pets?

someone told me that you could load the premium kavatar and kubrow skins onto these pets once you gilded them. the fact the cat one takes kavat mods it seem a reasonable assumption.

I just gilded my mutated cat and I thought the TOP option that says "gild to customize" would unlock and allow me to select a premium skin.

are these new pets supposed to be able to take the premium skins or not?

so they are supposed to take premium kavat skins ? or bugged in another way ?

on the first infested tidepod dog you could load on regular dog appearances and the nidus premium infested dog look you can load onto regular kubrows.

 

bump because I have to ask if this is meant to be possible with these new infested companions?
