About Xaku farm

Hi guys, just came back from a little break, so is my first day trying the HoD update (also happy i didn't see spoilers :))

So just a question before start, is Xaku painful to farm? I got a 75% off (ps4) and wanna know if it's worth using it on xaku and skip the farm 😛

Getting the bps isn't bad, you'll be doing bounties to rank up anyway. Check the wiki, Xaku needs crafting materials from all over which you may or may not already have in abundance. I have everything to build except the new scintillant resource...I'm in no hurry though, have little interest in this frame.

Farming his parts is easy, it's the usual RNG.

Farming the resources to craft him is the hard part. One of them is best to farm in Isolation Vaults or one of the lower tier bounties, it's a common drop but for some reason it doesn't feel like that.
Second one is from mining, the rare ore. For some reason it feels way rarer then it should. There are random "towers" or something like that around the drift that have those murmur with them, they also drop this ore and everything else rare.

I would say that the farm is not painful.  In fact, I got all of the blueprints in just a few hours.  However, to get all of the materials needed to build the actual parts, you'll need to be at least Rank 3 with the Entrati.  Which isn't by any means awful, but it does mean that it will take you about a week to get Xaku if you are starting Deimos from scratch and don't pay platinum to rush them.  You also need some resources from other open world areas and Factions, so I'd recommend doing some research on these requirements just to make sure you're not missing any of them.  (I was already maxed with Fortuna and Ostron so it didn't affect me)

If you can wait a week for Xaku, I'd spend your platinum on something else.  Have you seen that new Hydroid Deluxe skin?  Sweeeeeet. ^^

Honestly, for me farming xaku was not hard, i got all the bp relatively easily. However, you might find farming the resources to be the annoying part as the parts do require you to be highly proggressed in the other open world syndicates. Just keep playing the game and don't try to rush it and cause yourself to burn out.

Also in the current state xaku isn't really all that special, like yes the frame is enjoyable but the builds are very restrictive if you want to reach their full potential. And also the energy consumption is very poor, without arcane energize or energy pizzas you will have energy problems frequently. 

DE did state that once most of the players have had the time to experience xaku they will open a community feedback thread on xaku so that's nice.

i didnt have much issue farming for the bps while the actual issue is some of the material e_e mostly the scilltant needed is annoying rare item which DE is trying to fix the farm for but no luck at all for it
