Tesseract7777
I have been having crashing issues intermittently for a while. I sent something to support sometime back, and I did get a reply with some benchmarks to run. I have been struggling to find the right version of the tests, and I do intend to complete them and send them to support, but I have also been very busy. While it may be a hardware issue of mine, as I haven't had the greatest stability on a couple other games like No Mans' Sky, today something truly strange happened. It crashed again. A harder crash this time, one of the weird ones I have been having. It doesn't just crash to windows and give me the Warframe error message, it crashes to a black computer screen but my computer is still running, fans and all and I have to restart. This time, when I came back online, Warframe needed to be reinstalled. I checked the common files in Steam and everything and it was gone... not just misplaced by Steam, but deleted ENTIRELY from my computer. Could this be something wrong with my hard drive causing games to crash? Could it be antivirus or a corrupted hard drive causing it to delete itself? Why would my game do this? I know without a lot of benchmark test results and other such things no one can tell me exactly what is wrong with my computer, and I am working on that... but can someone explain why Warframe would do this?
