Resonator Subsume Ability Breaks Saryn

I can't use any weapons when I cast Resonator on Saryn. Just tried 3 missions in a row and I get about 10 seconds into a survival mission after hacking the terminal when I can no longer attack.

Casting Resonator > Spores > Toxic Lash works fine until I recast Resonator. Then I can only cast abilities and attempt finishers on enemies. 

I've tried to die a few times in the same mission to see if that fixes it but it didn't work. I can't attack when I revive myself. I've tried switching in and out of operator and getting knocked back into frame from operator and that didn't work. I've tried /unstuck and that didn't work. I've tried logging out and back in and that didn't work.

Seven missions in a row and a few trips to the sim where I can't use weapons if I cast resonator after spores and toxic lash.

 

Another edit:

Tried removing subsume ability and adding it again. That didn't work either.

 

Another Edit:

Ran 20 min survival on Khora with Resonator with no problems. 

Tested on Frost and I was unable to attack within the first 2 minutes of a survival.

Just ran into this issue as well. To specify, this bug happens if you cast resonator while either toxic lash or spores are active. If they wear off you can use resonator without your weapons breaking (so in practice you can literally never use resonator). Only tested on Saryn and Khora so far but my results seem consistent with yours; no loss of functionality on Khora.

I tried Resonator on Ember and the exact same thing happened. I'm thinking that it was also bugged on Khora but I didn't notice because I was just whipping. 

I was hoping that this would get fixed in today's hotfix but no luck.

Maybe it's an issue with frames that have their own unique meter/resource to keep track of? I tested with all of Khora's abilities except venari and didn't have any issues with ensnare or strangledome either btw.

I have a 100% repro on Ivara; casting Resonator while Prowl is active makes me unable to either shoot or melee until I cast another ability.

Trinity too if Energy Vamp and/or Link is active. Not sure about Blessing - need more testing.

Edit: confirmed even Blessing triggers it. Tested each ability individually. I'm guessing Well of Life would do it too, but that's what  I replaced with Resonator.

On Trinity at least, only recasting Resonator with nothing else active clears the issue.

This also happens the other way round - put a subsumed ability on Octavia and use it followed by one of her own and weapons stop working. It looks like the common link is the dancing lady.

Octavia does appear to currently cause breaks with Helminth. Cotton Tail has it nailed down.

Just put Resonator on Vauban in place of his 3. Ran 20 min survival to test and I could use my weapons the whole time. 

It's weird how some frames work fine and some are totally broken with Resonator.
