Here is some bugs I found farming the vaults: the "more defined" of them is when I take the tentacle-express to return to surface: sometimes you find yourself falling into infinity (insert some Dream Theater background music). Happened to me once, and to my brother at least twice. Another issue (I think) is with the Necramech... I menaged to beat them everytime, but I get the impression that most of the times as soon as I destroy the arms they go into shield mode and keep it up almost continously. For what I understand a void dash is supposed to negate the effect, but it doesn't seem to work. I'll be honest, the battle gets a little confused and I'm not 100% sure, but anyway... Another bug I encountered, but just once, is that fighting against a Necramech I got stucked in it's negation bubble: even when it died I couldn't use any abillity or go into operator mode. When I tried, I got the "interference" effect you get when you are in a negation field. I had to extract to get rid of the glitch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
(PSN)chewbaccachris Posted September 1, 2020 Share Posted September 1, 2020 I also fall through eternity - although switching to archwing and flying upwards can get you back on to the map, but even that can still glitch and make you fall back through the floor. (PSN)Stealth_Cobra Posted September 1, 2020 Share Posted September 1, 2020 Yeah it's almost 100% repro for non-hosts to fall off the map after taking the worm teleport thing. For necramechs it's really annoying because once they are shielded, as you said, they don't seem to take much damage from anything . You can try void dashing into them and shooting your amp, it will usually deplete their shield after awhile, but in the process you'll usually be carpet bombed by their aoe attack which will kill your operator, then make you reappear in your frame which will be killed by the same cluster of aoe bombs .... The bait disappears as soon as it leaves my hand and the mission becomes unfinishable. It's happened 4 out of the 5 times I've attempted an isolation vault today. Also, the bait station (and throw bait) objective are bugged in almost every mission, the thing doesn't spawn or can't be thrown. I do enjoy Deimos a lot but the fact that EVERY Iso Vault is bugged is a lot of frustration and a huge loss of time. Plus I went from loving Nora to hating her guts it because holy hell it's just an annoying gimmick at this point. The glass enemies shouldn't spawn on open worlds. Anyways, hope it gets fixed, because PS4 Deimos is extra buggy and if it goes on like this I'll be forced to go on a break until it's playable ;-; good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
umdos Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Also you got an ESC bug on isolation vaults sometimes, when starting the mission on mother Lately got a bug entering the vault door: can't get through, instead i get reset back right in front of the door(just like i fell off the map) Another bug is when open up and loot 2nd vault, you have to enter vault 1 again, to trigger the 2nd mission to finish -also does vault 3 Seems the bugs get more the further hotfixes get released...sadly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
IceBlueEyesX Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 I just encountered a very strange one with my team today. Not sure if it's linked to the recent hotfix, but it's possible. We were going for consecutive vault runs for the good rewards, and two whole runs in a row, this is how it turned out: We did the first vault dive, 100%, with NO issues. Then, we queued up the next, listened to the beginning dialogue as usual, but once it got to the part where we had to gather bait for the door, it just skipped all of that immediately and went to the second part. ...and once it did, and the toxicity display showed up, it zoomed from 0% to 80% in roughly three or four seconds; faster than we could even reach the area the first time, and barely fast enough the second time, resulting in a VERY unfair auto-failure. Edited: Accidentally posted this on the wrong platform forum. Still, those who play on PS4 may want to keep an eye out for something like this potentially happening.
