Doraz_
There was this sonic game Sonic Battle on the gba, fighting beat em up arena rpg. It even has mods you can swap in and out like warframe xD A robot that had usually clunky movement had the ability to crouch and drive like a car ... almost drifting in the 90s and whatnot. necramech could do the same thing. If you make us drift as well, fortuna and cetus can even become tracks we can mario kart around with our big differently colored mechs!
taiiat
i would say like MUL-T from Risk of Rain 2, myself. the Dash that MUL-T has would be pretty amusing, since it charges forwards on his wheels and knocks back Enemies you crash into with significant force. which lets you go bowling with MUL-T. i imagine Players with enjoy doing the same with their Necromechs. here, i'll record a visual aid real quick if anybody is not familiar.https://gfycat.com/equatorialcommonafricanfisheagle some differences of this to your suggestion, is that MUL-T doesn't have great steering when he's Dashing, but he goes a LOT faster than normal and like i mentioned he throws Enemies back when he collides with them plus deals hefty Damage. sending an Enemy(ies) flying backwards sounds good to me. Steel_Rook
You can already get this via the "headrush" dash ability. I'd personally rather see Necramechs crouch-walk so they can get through smaller doors.

I don't really like the feel of the dash personally, it uses the same resource of sprinting ( at least, what i saw with the free mechs you can pilot ). I was thinking that instead of simply giving mechs the ability to crouch-walk, Crouching itself becomes a different way of moving around. You would effectively switch between powerful slow mech mode and nimble Tokyo Drift mode, 3 hours ago, taiiat said: some differences of this to your suggestion, is that MUL-T doesn't have great steering when he's Dashing, but he goes a LOT faster than normal and like i mentioned he throws Enemies back when he collides with them plus deals hefty Damage. sending an Enemy(ies) flying backwards sounds good to me. your suggestion is much more sensible, melee feels a bit meh to me so ramming enemies at high speed like the gif would be the preferred choice if available. ( i always see that game, i never pick it up)

Doraz_
I finally had the opportunity to play around with the necramech I didn't rush with plat because i was afraid i would be lift disappointed ... and i was ;-; ( not entirely of course ... while this is lovely, at the moment it feels like titanfall... but meh.) Mobility Issuses: -You often can conserve momentum only by abusing some mechanics rather than feeling that the system is encouraging that to happen - Complex terrain makes sliding and even traversal difficult Examples: a) try jumping, initiate a continued dash, cancel it, and land ... now you move at double/triple the speed xD b) A bump, no matter how small can completely stop the dash c) when you land, you play an animation that stops any momentum ... makes landing more meaningful? ... NO, cuz you can just jump immediately skipping the animation xD UI Issues: Most of the lines serve NO purpose ... doesn't help with aiming or leading projectiles ... just clutters the screen, making the important info. like excavator health less noticeable during combat Ability-wise: In my opinion it could be the best way to bring back the original Warframe Ability System. Make Necramech abilities as Swappable mods. ( the first line of mods can be dedicated to abilities only!) Instead of releasing mechs with different abilities, we farm the ones we want for fashion, and mod them to our liking. Do NOT clutter the mod available for necramech with useless and unnecessary stuff just because we have the mod space for it. Fashion-wise: Skins are a no brainer. a way to implement it with N.mechs is to allow individual parts to be swappable instead of having a single mech. When the next mech drops, allow people to farm the individual parts instead. That way, free players can customize it with in-game farmed parts, while you can sell part WF team or Tennogen makes. End Ideas Note: -Heavy Greatsword for Necramech! ( i want an Entrati one plz, how is this NOT a thing ;-; ) ... along with all other archwing melees, they should be equippable byt mechs. A good way to bring back those weapons and give them new life in the open world- - Tank-mode when crouching. I get my tokio drift mode is asking a bit too much ... but crouching can make the mech transform into a tank. so it can pass through small dors ... IF the idea of bringing them into the starchart is still on the horizon. - SUPER-JUMP! Again, another relic from the past, mechs would really appreciate a super-jump ability in my opinion. Add that recasting it in mid air makes them fall ( like Zephir) violently to the ground, causeing a giant explosion and ragdolling who survives. I write this cuz both with Xatu and N.Mechs, i got them, didn't rush them and didn't wanna level them to experiment with builds further. I'd rather play them when i feel like it ... but that is an allarm of lack of engagement and attatchment, that is NOT why me ( but i'd say "people" in general) stick with this game. ( lol gotta go too much writing!)
