Quiver - invisible companion

I have consumed my Ivara to Big Mouth, so I can add Quiver on my beloved Equinox for some invisible plays. I was hoping that I would be able to shoot my Carrier and gain invisibility. I was trying to do so for quite a long time, but I had no success doing so. So I wonder, if that's not possible anymore, because I was watching some videos where it was possible, although the videos were quite old. I can't actually remember if I have tried it on my Ivara prior to consuming her and as I don't have a prime version (yet) I cannot try it and confirm whether it works on Ivara or not. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks guys.
