Who else rushing Family?

I see a lot of people rushing things like weapons and warframes and Helminth.

Me, I’m rushing story. Got my 20 grandma tokens farmed up and everything out of the way, just need to fill up the 99,000 standing.

There doesn’t seem to be anything behind Family standing that is meta, so wondering who else is.

Im about that story. Mama needs a name!

I'm only rushing a little bit just because DE might change stuff and all the things I spent hours and hours on will become meaningless and a waste.

Not so much "Rushing" as putting Family Standing and Rank-up over other toys and loot. Wait, no, I put Mech construction and Alt mech gun before them, but now I'm focusing on them again.

Basically, I just want to see if there's a "Secret Unlock" for getting to Rank 5.
Do they reveal some hidden fact about themselves? Do they offer a new gun/loot for Rank 5?

I'm basically aiming for a Mystery Box that may or may not exist, instead of taking the cool new weapon/loot we have available now. (Disappointment inbound?)

I gave it a few days due to other stuff, but have been building the weapons and pets, along with finally finishing the Xaku material farming. Just hit rank 3, and will have the standing tonight to buy/build the Helminth module for the ship.

 

The actual "rush" is just the random RNG timegating due to the lack of particular materials/tokens to unlock, I already have a huge stockpile of Mother tokens to just turn in every day for the standing cap.

Priority will go to rank 5, then I'll explore the other bits.....except for necramech which I will fill up at the same time.

I think there’s another rune lore update in necraloid’s room at the very least. Every loid and family rank has seemed to add a new lore rune.

i havent even finished the quest. ill probably wait until DE makes those radical changes so as not to waste time just to have the rug pulled up under my feet

i'm doing the same thing!! helminth seems fine and all, but i looooove lore. so that comes first. i can't stop myself from using a bit of standing to get the new pets tho

Rushed to level 3, as this does get you access to all the items and stuff. Then as i needed some items to level up to 4, and to get necramech standing, i desided to use 2 days standing to get 1 infested kavat & Kubro, 2 weapons, Necramech advancement items, and the BP to make them, and hymilth. Now im back on that push for max standing, but i can do so with all my new toys.

You should get the quest and get in there. Every day you dont play is a day your not cashing in up to 30k standing.

i dont care that much. i do my daily log in then log out and go play ghost of tsushima. i just finished ranking up in fortuna for barruk. im in no mood for another insane grind.

I rushed to rank 3 for the segment, and rushed necraloid to rank 3 as well. Now that is done and I can relax and take the time to start to understand the lore stuff.

The Requiem story is fascinating and I can't wait to see how/why

Albrecht is trying to close the void permanently. I believe he was the one controlling the necramech in the quest, and mother makes constant references to what 'HE has been up to' when doing vault runs. I'm expecting rank 5 family to reveal a big bomb like Fortuna did.

This is a great lead up to duviri, and I can't wait for that to release and we find out that tenno lived in the void to adulthood. Yeah, it's speculation, but I think that the child-like appearance of the operator is a defensive mechanism for some kind of trauma they suffered that we will learn about and overcome.

rushing? do you mean rushing buildable items with plat? Not a chance.  I'm not giving DE a dime - not even when it was other peoples money to begin with for this grindfest.

rushing the collection of resources? as in hitting it hard? I have all the weapons, the helminth, the pets, the mech - loid is maxed, and family is R3 - so all remaining mother tokens will just go to maxing that out - have a thousand+ mother tokens i can't use because that tightwad grandmother doesn't really like mother tokens apparently and just wants hundreds (or thousands) of father/son/daughter/otak to get the 60 tokens necessary to actually build the weapons we had to grind for hours to get.

mods - dont really care about them - with the number of times I ran the iso vaults and bounties I only got a few (not many) and i have no intention of quadrupling my effort in the RNG chance of completing them.  I'll just level the mech up and put it in the closet instead.

I also typically hit max rank before circling back to pick up the looty bits. Had to grab helminth on the way, of course, since that's it's own progression chain and you want to jump on long progression chains as early as you can.

The game implies with Grandma that she's the one who did it, so as to get the Family off their collective butts and to work together to solve an imminent problem.

As for the Child-Like appearance of the operator, that is because that was the form they had when they entered the Void, and when shenanigans within ended up creating a Void Imprint, their Oro. The only other's who had these at that time, as far as we know, were The Seven, the Emperors of the Orokin Empire. The Seven had the Tenno treated as "Demons", outcasts and monsters because they knew the threat the Tenno now possessed, for only one with an Oro can ultimately kill another with an Oro......which is what the Tenno did when they assassinated The Seven, and collapsed the Orokin Empire.

 

EDIT: Also, this is purely speculation, as I am missing the final Lore node, but I have suspicion that Albrecht miiiight have acquired an Oro as well, without knowing it. The second to last lore node has him state that he is no longer partaking in the Kuva, and thus, moving himself to a new body/shell when his current grows old. He's done, he's moving on when his time is over. I just feel like it would be a cruel joke for him to discover "Sorry, kiddo. You're an immortal now~".

The grind for standing is actually very reasonable at the moment. You trade tokens for standing. 1 Mother Token for 100 standing. You get around 80-100 from one of the bounties each time you do it. So 3 of these a day will max out your daily standing. Have abit more time? Do a 4th or 5th mission. You can save your tokens up, and turn them in when you want.

I just rushed Helminth since it's probably the largest time gate. I'm fine coasting the rest of the content, I don't need to consume it immediately to enjoy. 

I feel you on the early nerfs though, nobody wants to show up after throttling.

Just rushing Fam cuz once they add more content here I am sure it will require it.  Like I would ASSUME eventually we can kill Vome and Fass.  But they'll slap in another operator amp thing or expand on the necramechs and then im sure there will be new arcanes being made for maybe necramechs.  But yeah I'm sure something will come up that will require Fam Rank other than captura scenes that I personally have no interest in since I play for functionality vs vanity boosting.  Yeah sorry for calling yall out lol.  But here's a beer for a peace offering.

Yup. Also heard theres not many new stuff are locked behind level 5. I'm happy taking my time and spending my points at level 4 till i have enough leftover mats to get rank 5. Wanna get my infested pets and weapons out of the way first.
