JohnnyMeta
I was interested in the bonus of "+ void damage", thinking that in the game there is no benefit (only cons) to this type of damage against enemies, I decided to try it, to see if the damage increases even a little... I decided to use a weapon that does not have additional bonuses like a "sniper combo" or any buff: And a normal XAKU: CRITS (normal) : CRITS (+XATA/S WHISPER) +17% (Void status) So I decided to increase the strength of the bonus with mods, to obtain: then , ill try with other warframe and now sentient enemies Now Xaku with the same enemies Even with a power that in theory eliminates resistance from sentients, sentients continue to have their resistance turned on

The Wiki states that it does. Disappointing. Also, remember that there's synergy with his 4th ability - when it hits enemies, they gain an extra 50% vulnerability (i.e. damage type weakness) to Void damage. And since you used a level 1 Xaku... 17% Void damage ain't much. There's not really a real benefit to Void damage beyond "Ooh, neat!" They should let it reset Sentient resistances. The Wiki states it's supposed to, so I wonder how that conclusion was reached. Only two enemy health types resist Void damage: Cloned Flesh and Fossilized. Nobody is weak to it. So his 4th ability is pretty important.
Oryo4231
The void damage from xata's whisper applies as a separate damage instance. Notice in your first screenshot using xata's whisper with two 244 crits and a 476 orange crit, there are also two instances of 29 damage and an instance of 56 damage. I'm not sure what's going on with the sentient resistances though, I haven't ran into that issue personally.
JohnnyMeta
il y a 2 minutes, DrakeWurrum a dit : ¿Estás seguro? I increased the damage in the following captures (upper right), but the same numbers can continue to be seen, apart from if there is an increase of a bonus even 1% (more), you could easily and definitely not see the normal damage numbers done without any buff. Additionally, the elemental resistance / sentient damage appears as the element symbol in red, and in the screenshots you can see this.
JohnnyMeta
In the end, it does not matter which enemies you face, the first ability does not grant additional damage, what it does generate is the status effect and also numbers (rarely) a little higher, but already trying with other hitscan weapons and weapons with flight speed and melee. :/

No, the correct damage for Void is showing up. It's a separate instance of damage. That's why there's a tiny "49" underneath your massive orange " 476" in the fifth image. 38 minutes ago, JohnnyMeta said: Additionally, the elemental resistance / sentient damage appears as the element symbol in red, and in the screenshots you can see this. I can't play with Xaku myself to figure it out. Maybe it's just something that's broken in the Simulacrum. I'm wondering why the Wiki states it, but you're showing it doesn't work, as in... who came to that conclusion and why, enough so to add to the Wiki? AntiMomentum
Void status effect, "bullet attractor" attracts projectiles to the BODY not the HEAD. It prevents headshot damage. So when you get the headshot bonus damage without using his abilities that's why it's higher than when you use his void sadly. Not sure if that's entirely what's going on here but it's another variable to consider. I noticed you were doing headshots in some of those pics, the ones with Grineer anyways. That's what's happening there fo sho. Either void status should be changed to attract to the head (except against Eidolons) or using void via Xaku specifically should allow attract to head to happen (especially since his void damage or whatever doesn't count towards eidolons anyways, it fits nicely this way). I do hope DE does change this apparent issue ether way. Xaku debuffs weapon damage now lmao.

I think the Void status effect should have an explosive AOE damage proc (like an AOE bleed effect) instead of this lame Bullet Attract thing. Void's supposed to be the most terrifyingly powerful force we know of, yet it... attracts... bullets? Isn't that more of a "magnetic" thing? Headshot bonus damage is actually pretty powerful but yeah literally anything is better than debuffing weapons and i love AoEs too
