DestyJay
I was just wondering everybody's opinion about The Quills standing gained from sentient cores does it seem way to low compared to Toroids for Vox Solaris and the Matrices for Necraloid factions. These tables are from the wiki to show the costs excluding universal medallions and selling Amps for standing. The Quills Vox Solaris Necraloid I mean the best one you can get for the Quills the flawless sentient core is around the same standing gained as the lowest of both other factions. Keep in mind that getting sentient cores are time gated to night time on the Plains of Eidolon you only have 50 minutes to kill Eidolons then have to wait for 100 minutes to go again. But the Toroids you can farm them pretty easy in the Orb Vallis and nothing stops you from fighting the Orb mothers whenever you want and for the Matrices all you need to check is that you have enough time in the Wyrm cycle to do all 3 Vaults to get the best ones. So what should the sentient cores cost in standing if you agree or do you just disagree and think there fine as is.
(PSN)Madurai-Prime
I'm all for making it easier for casuals to progress in the game earlier on. People act like eidolons are rocket science and really hard when they're not. But the mote amp is really bad. They need to buff the mote amp, let us Gild amps at Rank 2 instead of Rank 3 or give faster access to the better amp parts.
TARINunit9
No, because they're easy to get. Vomvalysts spawn in packs every 30 seconds and have a 100% chance to drop cores, and Eidolons drop dozens of the things. Raknoids spawn rarely, have a low drop chance, and Orb Mother's only drop one toroid, so they are worth a lot more

You also don't have to fight the eidolon. If you attack the eidolon with your void damage as the operator, the Eidolon starts summoning for the sentient wisps for backup & in 1 night you could probably rack up 100 sentient cores. I do have the rarer ones but I've just maxed my standing cap (not the actual standing cap but the cap the MR gives us) from just the common sentient cores. I do think they should give an easier access to the common sentient cores in other ways though, don't get me wrong.
.Little.
No, you get loads of them while fighting an Eidolon do a Tridolon and in mere minutes have standing capped for the day.
Aldain
No, if anything the Toroids are the worst imo due to being mostly RNG relegated. ...But nothing can top Systems farm for the worst farm in the game short of maybe Khora.
Tesseract7777
The difference is you get a lot of cores in one battle, especially if you fight the whole tridolon. In a Profit Taker battle unless I get extra from booster or something, it is just one per fight. I've crunched the numbers a little before and I'm pretty sure even with a poor run of just Teralyst you can get pretty close to Crisma Toroid standing. Even in a failed battle that just ends in a kill and not cap, that means you usually end up killing more vomvalysts, which can lead to a lot of standing if you got a bunch. I think it's fine. Minutes you say? well thats not fast enough, I want to log into the game and have my standing auto capped!
(PSN)Hikuro-93
But are Toroids and Matrices as common? That is the question. The question with an obvious answer.

Give or take a thousand, yeah around that. Almost all of my standing came from Terry (because honestly Tridolon hunting is more trouble than it is worth to me) and it is fully possible to hardcap on standing just hunting a couple of Teralysts in a day. The question may only be good for that toroid bit (idk, i haven't farmed toroids in a long time) matrices though are pretty common, just depends on what tier vault you stop at. Yeah i agree with this the only reason i got thinking about standing is how fast i ranked up in the Necraloid compared to The Quills but now thinking more about it. its more now im MR29 and back when i was ranking up the Quills i was probably around MR9 or something and was really capped by daily standing back then. (NSW)Joewoof
Definitely not too low. I think they are some of the fairest resources in the game. They only seem very expensive early on, before you can craft yourself a proper Amp. Personally, I crafted Exceptional Cores with mining resources first. Makes a it a little easier if you enjoy mining anyway. Otherwise, try following an Eidolon around. You don't have to kill it, but tickling it will spawn plenty of Vomvalysts to kill. Loza03
Probably not, on account of how abundant they are. By comparison, you can only get toroids as rare drops, and whilst Matricies are more frequent, they're nowhere near as frequent as the lootsplosion of them you'll find from the Eidolons and all the vomvalysts they summon.
