Koalachan Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 When the damage of 12 Forced Slash appeared much lower than expected I zoomed in on what was going on. So I tried a couple different scenarios. Using the mods: Killing Blow, Sacrifical Pressure, Primed Pressure, Arcane Blade Charger, Arcane Fury. The damage against L100 was always the same regardless of presence/absence of any of those things. Much to my surprise while I was trying to be complete in my test, I found that of all things Arcane Arachne does work. Other generic things that worked: Crit, Crit Damage, Combo Bonus It's kind of weird how special mechanics keep slipping through bugged as if no one tests this. The Weapon has some nice flavours and unique ways it can be modded so I look forward to seeing this fixed (and not by removing the Arcane Arachne to make it consistently bugged :-) ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
purdo84 Posted September 3, 2020 Share Posted September 3, 2020 i've found this as well. one interesting thing i did find though was with mirages clones. as soon as i cast her hall of mirrors, suddenly the heavy attack/fan of knives are doing red crits anywhere from 8k-200k damage. i'm starting to think that this happens because of the extra projectiles from her clones adding to the crit chance somehow. not sure anyways, i really like this weapon and the heavy attack mechanic and i hope someone from DE can look into this or clarify exactly how they're supposed to work because building for the heavy attack seems to have zero effect on the damage output. Lvl 100 Heavy Gunner versus Heavy attack Quassus on Xaku: No mods: up to 12 feathers hit for 14 or 28 Primed Pressure Point (+165 Melee Damage): 12 feathers hit for 14 or 28. (Melee Damage = BROKEN) Primed Fever Strike (+165% Toxin): hits for 28/56 (Elemental = working) Primed Pressure + Primed Fever Strike: hits are 28 / 56. (confirms what we already established) Condition Overload (+120% Melee Damage): one 14 or 28 hit forcing the first slash and the rest of the feathers all 16/32. Follow up from another Heavy Attack also does 16/32 with the Slash on the target (so it does interact with the Status effect but +2 does not rhyme with +120%; the value should be rounded from 30.8/61.6 = Broken) Arcane Arachne (+150% Damage): 35/70 (a more generic Damage = works) THIS IS STILL BROKEN AFTER THE PATCH Odd bonus: once in a full moon, one of the tests suddenly does high damage for no particular reason as i it suddenly decided to work anyway.
