Arquebex stealing affinity

When I do any sort of mission, my arquebex will steal bonus affinity from my weapons, up to equal to what my warframe has gotten, which would be fine, if it benefited from stealing that affinity, as current, it will steal exp and not gain from it, I.E. i did a 15 wave hydron starting with a rank 25 chroma and a rank 20 arquebex, the chroma gained 113,651 exp and 142,064 bonus exp, bringing it to rank 28, the arquebex gained the same amount of bonus exp, but stayed at rank 20

LOL I had the same exact issue. I was literally nuts when Arquebex steals at least 250,000 exp each time I started grinding.

Just to bump this, I too am having this issue.  Even when I played as Necramech and had to to rank 4, when I returned to orbiter it was back to zero and that's when I was actually using it to level it.

I was wondering why my frames are leveling so slow, this explains it.

BTW the best thing is you can't unequip the necramech.. 🙄

I've been seeing this too in many missions that are not open land area where a necramech could be used. It's in the UI at the end of the missions, but not if I exit and view last mission results. I've completed building a necramech, but have not used one yet. Did a few Archwing missions with the Mausolon, got it to rank 19 so far.

Has this been reported as a bug? Has DE mentioned anything?  It's extremely annoying.  I'm now leveling the Cortege but taking 3x as long per forma thanks to the Arquebex.  Maybe I'll skip leveling the Cortege and finish up my build on the Arquebex in hopes that once my last of the 4th forma is completed, it won't suck any more affinity.

same. Shows up on every mission, seems to gain "Bonus" affinity (no base affinity), and after the mission I check and it has actually gained none.

I haven't farm Focus for a long time so I don't remember what the numbers should be, BUT, even if it's just a UI bug and Arquebex is not actually stealing affinity, it's still scary to see numbers like these.
(It's 8 zones of Elite with affinity booster, iirc, for those who do know how much Focus you should get from it)

Best thing seems to be that it does not only steal a good chunk of XP, it also does not save it. It just resets to level 0 after you leave.

okay, i went and found someone to test this with.
this Player does not have a Mech yet, and so if the Mech is/was affecting XP, it would be non applicable to them at this time.

it looks like it does affect XP, however the actual delta was that my Warframe got 90.1% of the XP that my helper did. 

did not impact Weapon XP at all, infact my Gun got 0.6% more XP but idfk how that happened. neither of us Killed any Enemies so all of the XP gained in the Mission was applied equally to both of us.

 

however, if we compare with the Weapons, both of us had 3 Weapons Equipped so both our Weapon and Warframe should have gotten exactly the same amount of XP.
checking back on the last Mission, he Casted two Abilities, 

so if he Casted Sonic Boom a couple times, then my Warframe got 91.8% the XP his did, further reducing the delta of what Arquebex might be splitting.
95.3% if he picked up an XP Orb from a Crate, 99.0% if he picked up two. i don't think this actually happened, just covering the bases of possibilities.

 

conclusion:
Arquebex might split XP by some amount it seems, 10% or less from your Warframe if so.
however yeah, it doesn't ever seem to keep that XP so it's either a UI Bug or it's dumping a bit of XP into a black hole. 
in the meantime, it's not a big deal though.

I removed Necramech from the gear wheel.... Arquebex exp still shows up at end of mission.

I just did a mission and noticed my usually available cipher was not available...  Then noticed lots of items missing from gear wheel.

 

Last night I did two missions, solo on venus's Orb Vallis, trying to rank up Necramech and got zero exp for Necramech and zero towards Syndicates.... the syndicate cap was at max after two missions. I thought the exp server was offline and quit for the night.

The update today didn't address it, so bumping this again. Aquebex is making frame leveling a pita

I've only been leveling the mech and the Cortege, so I haven't noticed. The Arquebex is the Voidrig's exalted weapon (like Excalibur's Exalted Blade), so it will always be present once you have the Voidrig built and collected.

I've been adding forma to my Arquebex and grinded out level 23 to 26 (based on in-mission progress screen) in Thermia Fissure mission on Orb Vallis today.  The whole group extracted fine, but my Arquebex ended up back at level 23.

Its really disappointing to make progress on leveling up your gear only to find out you wasted your time because it did not save correctly.

oh yeah I keep seeing it popup on my game over screen but it isn't leveling and hasn't been used, time for me to stop being lazy waste an hour or so leveling it so it stops leeching all my affinity !
