Please add more mutagen/antigen

It would be nice if there were more versions of mutagens and antigens that shuffle around the aesthetic effects. It kind of sucks at the moment that you have to choose between a pet that looks good, and a pet that works well.

For instance, I love the big infested tail of the Zarim Mutagen for Vulpaphyla, but I have no interest in having a pet with Cloned Flesh resistances.

The unfortunate outcome of a system like this is that either I have a bunch of pets that I think look pretty, but I don't bother using because they're awful, or I have a bunch of pets with the exact same features.

their Resistance type is irrelevant

they can't die, they just turn into Sentinels then respawn

so just pick whatever looks cool

Remember when DE said they didn't want stats tied to cosmetics, and as such did away with Arcane Helmets.

And then they added Arcanes which you could only attach to cosmetics... but they did away with that as well, because stats tied to cosmetics is bad.

Now whether the resistances choice is going to make much of a difference long term I don't know, but I do know it's stats tied to cosmetics, and is therefore bad.

Warframe is consistently inconsistent.

It's almost like there should be an internal memo on this kind oF basic design policy... it's almost like they don't listen to the words they speak 1/2 the time...

I could go into 1000s oF examples, but I don't think we really need to, everyone that needs to know already does.  This was another dumb decision that should be reversed asap.

Similarly I would have bought the hydroid deluxe iF i could have used that dirigia skin on any sentinel, but since dirigia is garbage I skipped it because it will literally never get used by me.

I don't think that the new mutagen/antigen should be just recombined versions of stuff we have, but instead new looks.  I like what we have, but getting more looks would be nice. 

That being said, I don't know about the cloned flesh looks.  TBH, I don't like either and am OK with them being tied to the worst typing.  Then again, that's just me.  And as pointed out above, they can't die so it just changes the amount of time they are cute flying guys... at least for the vulpaphylas.  The Predasites are a whole different story.  That matters a lot.  Still working on that since I wanted Vulpaphylas first.  I think the Vulps look cooler.

 

EDIT:  I found that the predasite cloned flesh tail is the one I like the most after messing with them.  Therefore, I am really annoyed now.
