I think they are implying that Warframe needs a Umbra Exilus Adapter which I say, Why? There is no reason & even if we get one, what would it do? DE isn't going to Retcon their own lore with umbra.

Yeah, I'm doubling down on that function-wise as well as story-wise. There's no legitimate reason we need an Umbra Exilus Adapter because a) story reasons and b) there's no Exilus Umbra Mods...

I think DE will take this idea to add sentience to Necramech and give it to KDrives so we can watch our own KDrives jump tricks.

DE actually made an item like this, it's just not in the game. "Echoes of Umbra". It's been over a year, and it wouldn't surprise me if DE forgot about it, given it seems people have.

It's just their initial idea of it being a timed consumable you had to keep getting was bad, but DE being DE just put the release of something like it at a later date, instead of you know, just changing it...

No one forgot, it just got scrapped because of the backlash

Yeah it was a poorly thought out item that wasn't worth the investement to farm it and also was taking away from what makes Umbra(s) unique.
