so far i had the scindo, and the orthos in my head as wel, besides mellee weapons are quicker to make than a riffle

 

I was thinking of a Scindo as well. The (dual) Skana is also a good option, if anything, because it looks neat.

Will you be adding any electronics to simulate the energy colour? EL wire with quick spray of matte black spray paint would give an interesting effect i believe.

wel i need to make the primary build first, and that will be putted into a mould where i can get a polyester/resin version out of. but when i make a copy of it, i an make it hollow and put some electronics in it. but i need to look at some different lights for it.

 

EL wires are a option, but a piece of plexi-glass channels a lightsource as wel. and some small LED's might spare some batteries in a long run.

And Spartan, that's really nice, being featured on Prime Time, making replicas and all, but I do think that there are more manly ways to get attention other than advertising yourself in another artist's thread. Not every piece will meet the same success that the previous, or future, ones have.

 

But it's alright. Don't worry about it. If you love your art, it doesn't matter. You just do your best, and you get it out there, even if reception ain't so hot. I would know. And if you think there's a reason why it's not getting enough attention... You should probably address that, or ask someone about it. But, like, in your own thread. With all due respect.

hey guys, i'm sorry i haven't updated my thread in ages!

 

i have been to dajum busy with all sorts of stuff, and in a few weeks i'm in the middle of my finals :(

 

but as a quick status update... i'm working of a number of projects you guys might like :)

 

ofcourse the Fang prime

a Lato Prime

a Skana, and the shorter Dual Skana!

 

i think i will post those in their own sepperate thread though. i'll get pictures up as soon as possible!!

haha thanks mate, and i'm 21. after i get this stuff done, i want to set up a business with my props. i'm making some replica's now to put in my portfolio so that people can see i can work on a 1:1 scale. after that i want to be able to make some props for people that make movies or short movies.

 

and good luck on your finals as wel then! i need to get mine, i'm so done with this school bullcrap xD hahaha.

noooooooo..... yes... it is.. xD one of his masks though. i need to remake one, because it deformed a bit. and the other one needs to be molded. the one you see there is already molded :)

i'm makin a jack of blades cosplay for some cons next year xD

My dream when I was 17 and when I just played Fable. Man, that is.... Too awesome. *Tear drop* I can't even imagine what the sword you make is gonna look like in real life. He had one bad-&amp;#&#33; sword, and his costume was so freakin' bad &amp;#&#33;.

 

Man, that is one seriously good looking mask. Gawd, that prop shop thing is definitely gonna be a viable job for ya, I think! So much dedication! I'm envious! :O
