TARINunit9 Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 The news, the Lastest Staff Replies Button, the Notifications bell, and the ability to access your user profile are all missing on the default mobile page. You have to tell your mobile browser to use Desktop Site to get any of those back I know this is a common thing with mobile sites, that they usually suck, but the Warframe forums used to be a glorious exception, looking great on mobile and desktop alike
DatDarkOne Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Normally I'm not too critical of things. But this mobile version of the forums is an EPIC FAIL.
(XBOX)SweatyPick3L Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 As everyone else has said, the new forums on mobile device are trash. It Needs a redo or redesign.
Eyn_Sof Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Also a lot of problems with posting from mobile including errors and having to refresh/wait for some time.
(XBOX)Mentor0fHeroes Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Can’t even access my account tab. If I want to view one of my posts I have to scroll up to the search bar and type in the name of my post. DE’s makin’ me feel like a dam fool!
(NSW)Gamer-Steve Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Indeed, I think the best thing that can be done is to re-code the mobile format to how it was before, bringing back all the standard functions of the Computer version. Of course, with the recent visual updates it had remaining :) That being said, I'm not sure if it has to do with the mobile formatting itself or my Android phone (I'm leaning towards the site formatting) but when pressing the "enter" touchscreen keyboard button, it seems to de-select your cursor on your typing, if you're working on a post like I am right now. It then needs you to scroll up / down and re-select where you left off; It wasn't like that before. Then again that last part may be a mere mobile-forum bug, whereas the lack of site functions on the top-right on the mobile is a clear flaw (Which I'm confident will be addressed when possible). In case anyone wants to test it here, all they need do is grab the corner of the browser window with their mouse, and drag it inwards (Towards the left / right side) until it changes.
