MortalDemon Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 DE did a great job with the Necramech in my opinion. The thing is fun to use and is actually viable instead of a neat gimmick. However, the biggest downside to the Necramech has got to be the Necramech mods. There is only one way to get the Necramech mods, and that is by doing Isolation Vaults and praying to RNG that the Necramechs you take down actually drop a mod. This has lead to me not using the Necramech due to the fact that despite doing many Isolation Vaults I have yet to get any of the basic survivability mods (Vitality, Steel Fiber, and Redirection) meaning my Necramech goes down way to easy in any content over level 30. Don't even get me started on the power mods though. I don't just want to complain however. I wish to propose a solution. That being that once you reach the max rank with the Necraloid syndicate, you should be able to trade Orokin Matrixes for Necramech mods. Make them on a daily rotation of what is available, and make them reasonably expensive. (maybe 5 vaults worth of Matrixes for a rare, possibly more) This could very easily solve the issue of the Necramech mods, but also give Orokin Matrixes a use after you have purchased everything Loid has to offer. This is just my proposed solution however, and if you have an idea that you believe to work better, feel free to reply with that idea.

That seems to be the most asked solution for this mod rng problem
KIREEK Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 You can always trade for them, provided you have enough gameplay prior to the update so that your budget isn't to low
Pizzarugi Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Just now, KIREEK said: You can always trade for them, provided you have enough gameplay prior to the update so that your budget isn't to low Necramech Intensify is worth 250p. I'm pretty sure that price is unreasonable and really speaks to how rare these mods are to obtain.

I see, but i allocated 4k plat for the new update, from selling prime sets, selling rellics in bulk,.... For example prime warframe sets, i sell them all at 200, all it takes is for me to sell 1 set, like trinity prime and i can easily cover the cost of 1 Intensify for necramechs, my goal was never to farm them, only to get some and then buy the rest, and obviously i have a big enough enough budget to buy the remaining rare mods. To me it's not unreasonable, it's literally aquiring 4 prime parts of a set and then selling it, probably takes less time aswell
Proscriptor Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 if the mods are really rare as you say, it seems that a high price would precisely be reasonable. edit: ^^
o0Despair0o Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 The mods are so rare, even a unranked Vitality mod got me 20 plat in trading. If nothing else they're decent plat.
(PSN)Darkrya Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 I would actually be perfectly fine with the solution you offered, I've done Isolation vaults a couple hundred times already, and the Rng seems to not be in my favor, or anyones, on console I haven't even found a person who's selling Necramech Thrusters. I guess the only problem that would arise is that after you've gotten everything from the vaults, whats the point in playing them, the only thing that keeps people doing vaults are the mods themselves, considering you can buy all the necramech parts. I think DE is sort of borrowing time with those isolation vaults, maximizing how much people need to do until they can dish out phase 2 of HoD. I feel like their gut instinct would be to add the mods to the end of bounty reward pool, sort of encouraging players who have done vaults for a while to continue grinding for the mods, instead of using their heafty supply of Matrix to skip the grind.

Indeed, I luckily got it for 170, but I see that Streamline is constantly going up & down, dunno about the other mods tho
Yamazuki Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 Honestly not even sure why at least some of the mods weren't earned only from the syndicate and others only from the Necramechs. As it is, the Necramech syndicate is a prime example of "fluff". You get almost all of the main rewards by ranking up, and then you only have a couple things to buy and you're done. It's as if it existed mainly because the other two "open worlds" also had an operator related syndicate.
Zentun. Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 We should be able to buy the mods from the necra syndicate, same way that we can buy mods for k-drive from ventkids.
Gh0st_Killer Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Like you said also another implementation would be removing the relic rewards from the isolation vaults and placing some of the necramech mods there. Or simple make another one no expiry bounty that is exclusive for aquiring lost items like mods or even new types of necramechs. It is indeed very hard to get all the mods even with mod booster.
Veritable_Vox Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Indeed, they should be added to to the Loid wares in some form or another, either from standing or trade in the matrixes. Also necramechs need some fixes as well, with the buggy affinity when trying to level. And the power cap of only 30, seriously, with 12 mod slots it should power up to 40 with formas like kuva weapons. Also the fact we cannot benefit from loot vacuum or enemy/loot radar or be able to rez our fallen teammates and pets. If necramechs are basically just grounded archwings, it would be nice if we got the same functionality of them.

Id remove the gems from the drop tables and replace them with a rare necramech mod drop. Or have it be a thing where necramech mods have a chance of dropping from things killed inside the vaults or from chests in the vault
SebastianSommer Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 The isolation bounty should have a rotational drop for certain mods similar to the POE and Fortuna. That or unlocking the isolation vault should provide a random mod just like every other vault related tasks (i.e. Orokin vault and Lua trial vault). After all, these iso vaults supposedly contain lost knowledge of technology according to Loid.
--K--Sharkfin Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Wait until there is an event full of necramech spawns like how Scarlet spear : sentients for the shedu parts.

(PSN)supjj Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This really needs looked at, trading with Loid for 100 of each matrix plus 25-50 scintillant would be something I would be willing to do. I have done a lot of vaults, that is a lot of time and have come up empty on the rare mods. Spoiler

vegetosayajin Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I quit after the 400-500 necra kill. I miss only the streamline but I won't give 150-200p just for it. If de fix the drop rate, I will farm it again, but for now it's pointless for me.

Also isn't trin prime vaulted? while YOU (and me) might have a stockpile of relics / sets anyone who started within the last year or two deffinetly does not.
zehne Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 100% Engine mod has low drop rate and only comes from first vault (so, only 1 mech per run can drop it). Also, it's one of the most important because if we are being honest the biggest downside of mechs is movement. Being able to move alot better would be nice right? BUT it's super hard to get that mod and i'm not paying 400p for it.
BDMblue Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 What I would want for max rank is a cephalon adapter for my mech. Put the old Beast of Bones in it and me and Ordis fight side by side again.

If no one told you, it's a free market, players are free to set any price and buyers are free to set any budget, as long it's inline with their own reputation, any value can be assigned and trades will become permanent. Cheaper things is something that can be said about pretty much 99.99999% of the trades, you can always find cheaper, that doesn't mean that players don't simply setle with something else. I personally wouldn't grind and then sell a set for 45, but if others want to do that, they are free to do so.
