"If we fight for the Grineer our fellow Tenno fall to the mercy of ALAD V"

Ummm That MUST be a Typo DE....

At present it basically says fight for corpus or else everyone loses.

It's pretty obvious that they did it again, manipulating us which side to fight with.

DAMN the Lotus! We're on Stalker's side and the INFESTED!

I have one reason for why to side with the Grineer: Do you really want to have to deal with multiple Grineer Heavies at once? AND the Napalms especially? Dat stunlock outmatches the Moas imo - heavy Grineer stunlock you and then they start pummeling you while you're stunlocked. The Moas? They just stand there like they're using Windows '98.

Tl;dr - I'm siding with the Grineer until i can figure out how the hell to side with the Infested.

Corpus with their vast machinery, drones and moas to do their jobs, energy weapons capable of firing super-heated plasma.

The grineer with their numbers, their heavy armor and their annoying knockdown attacks, weilding weapons using bullets....

Yep... The grineer are dead LOL

JUST SAYING

BTW! Im joining corpus cuz i hate the grineer and their mothers, leave em out of this... Alad gave me ammo mutations on top! haha

Sorry, but why the hell would either side tollerate us supporting them in this scenario?

I had hoped the last transmission would finaly add the point where it would be made clear why we could support either side, but now it's just some plot hole.

The Corpus are about to do horrible things to some of us and the Grineer are rubbing their hands to exterminate us when the Corpus aren't interfeering with them anymore. For both sides we would look like complete idiots for supporting them.

Come to think of it this all sounds like we should split up and sabotage both rather than to take favorits. There is no win but just two alternate ways to lose in the situation described there. We should sabotage the Grineer from steamrolling over the Corpus, while using the distraction to snatch away those frozen Tenno. Balance of power good and fine, but there is nothing in this setup which would ultimately speak against giving us a third option and just mess up with both.

Especialy since we have proven in 4 Events allready that we are completely capable of kicking their asses just fine.

I'm sorry to say this, but this is bad writing. Instead of giving a convincing explanation for why we should pick favorits, you try to enforce a story in which we have to make a sacrefice, despite the fact that there is no clear indication of why that sacrefice would be necessary.

This is like in Fallout 3 where you are forced to either give up your life to activate a machine or let a friend of yours activate the machine and die in your place. Despite the fact that you can take people along who could activate the machine just fine (an option later included with a DLC since even the devs understood how stupid this was).

Or other movies with bad writing where an obvious alternative is ignored in favor of cheap dramatic.

And in addition to that we still have no clear information of the political situation across the Solar system, so the Grineer being able to steamroll the Corpus without formorian ships all of a sudden comes without any previous indicator.

Bottom line. If you give us a choice, at least make the choice actualy make some damn sense instead of waving your hands and saying "BUT YOU MUST. DON'T ASK WHY!!!"

Fixed the message to make more sense:

In that case, I'll have to fight with the grineer. We have to save our fellow tenno, That takes priority over weakening the grineer. Who knows? maybe those tenno can even out the playing field, with the grineer gaining more strength and all.....

The answer is obvious:  Fight alongside the Grineer.

See, with the Grineer we can mop the floor with the Corpus and save the cryopods... and then turn around and use the rescued Tenno to fight against the Grineer with their strength added to ours, clearing the way for no other factions that currently exist in the game to barge in and take over.

Because right now the two sides are evenly matched. Both of them might hate us, but when we're offering to tip the balance towards one side or the other, well, they're not about to turn down help.

Of course, the Tenno have their own agenda and I'm sure both sides know it. But they'll accept our help because it'll help them, up until our sudden but obvious and inevitable betrayal.

And in addition to that we still no clear indication of the political situation of the Solar system, so the Grineer being able to steamroll the Corpus without formorian ships all of a sudden comes without any previous indicator.

The Grineer can't steamroll the Corpus. If they could, there wouldn't be much of an event. Right now, the Grineer and corpus are roughly evenly matched, hence why the Tenno can make a difference.

clearing the way for no other factions that currently exist in the game to barge in and take over.

Or you could just fight with the Corpus figure out where the Corpus have the Tenno bust them out and head straight for Alad V instead of letting the Grineer have more power.

How are you going to get that information? With the grineer you can capture and abduct corpus mooks and plunder their brainmeats. With the corpus, you're reliant on Alad being dumb enough to give you the coordinates to his cache.

If Lotus could find the location of our missing Tenno, we wouldn't need to support anyone. We could just descend on the Corpus Zanuka facility like locusts, plundering everything of value and then fading away while the Grineer and Corpus beat each other senseless.

Maybe she needs to draw there attention away while she sends in Alpha team to go and hack the main ground base to find out where the location is. Also the Zanuka project no knows what even could be at this time.
