Email for Synkra Syandana

Why am I being asked to enter my email address In Game for a Syandana, isn't this forum and oh yeah My Playstation account enough; both use the same address.

I love this game but for some reason that popup tilted me slightly, is this going to become the norm for Warframe?

In game request for information to get free stuff, if so I choose turn off notifications and use platium if I want it that bad; if it's exclusive to signing up for something, I guess I'll just have to go without.

Rarely Darvo sends me in-game mails about 'free' stuff on Twitch Prime, which is so rarely that it doesnt even bother me, I just close it, delete and continue playing. But may be useful for those who have the subscription and forgot about the new things.
