what tilesets are best for necramechs?

Assuming we can use it in Railjack, the Sentient Ship is a good pick. Aside from those 'fly from point A to B' tiles which are pretty rare, it's huge and has big doors.

Corpus ship in theory - IIRC they can't currently fit through the doors, but they can through similar ones on the Vallis, so that might get fixed.

Void and Derelict will work since with maybe a couple exceptions, all those doors are huuuuge. Orokin had a flair for the dramatic. Derelict less so I suppose, given that you need to crawl through vents. Lua should be alright for similar reasons though.

Of course, it's not just where they fit, it's also enough space for them to fight. The Arquebex needs a pretty high ceiling to fire more than a couple metres considering its dropoff. Necramechs also need a fairly decent amount of room to Maneuver if you don't want to get every few seconds. So that might cause problems at least for individual rooms. Europa would probably be the worst in that respect, nothing new there. Kuva Fortress as well perhaps, although as per usual, I'm pretty forgiving since any Fortress that lets a big hulking robot stomp around in it is a pretty bad fortress.

Pretty sure it's not Jupiter.

Not sure for how long I could put up with these things plodding around every mission. *WOMP* *WOMP* *WOMP* *WOMP* *WOMP* *WOMP*

You got used the the "*Tifffuuuuum*s of bullets jumps, you will be fine.

Well, the only tileset I can think of with few to no obstacles would be the Earth Forest. It's the only tileset where the majority of room connectors aren't doors of some kind.

If they add a crouch-walking animation, or some other way to reduce the height of the mech's collision volume, then more options will open up. It's worth noting that even in the Cambion Drift, there are a few tunnel layouts that the mechs cannot navigate.

The new Corpus tilesets will probably work well. But Infested and Grineer tilesets will be terrible.

The Grineer is bearable for the most part, there aren't a lot of small corridors but the infested tileset is often hard to navigate even with a warframe.

The Orokin and Moon tileset should be fine. Europa and Jupiter should be also fine since those are pretty open most times.

I hope Loid says something when you deploy it, like he’s sending it to you from Deimos. Maybe have it emerge from a void energy shimmer and then go into the crouch position until you activate it.

Maybe have Father say something occasionally, like he tuned it up for you and the secret about you having one is safe with him.

Necramechs should be able to slide through normal doorways. Inverse of bullet jumping.

ps. On that note Ordis should occasionally say “deploying arch wing”. But much more rarely given its frequent use.

Maybe keep the Father commentary rare and max once per mission.

With the new patch we have now the ability to summon the mech to us every 10 seconds(?)

IMO it should behave like AW/KDrive with one exception:

Unlimited calling, no cooldown UNLESS it is destroyed - in which case there is the 3min cooldown starting from destruction time not last call time.

If recalled, it is recalled with remaining health.

SO:
Deploy, take no damage, 10 seconds later get out, go through door, Deploy again its deployed still with full health

Deploy, take 50% damage, 10 seconds later get out go through door, deploy again - it is redeployed with the 50% health it had left

Deploy, get destroyed- can't redeploy for 3 minutes.
