(PSN)haphazardlynamed Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 When in Navigation I used to be able to pull up my main menu, then jump to other parts of the Orbiter. The Arsenal for example is a frequently used one. (view sortie req, swap guns) Recently this has changed, and the main menu is Non-responsive when in Navigation until I manually back out of it (several layers of backout) and return to 3rd person. Can we please revert this change? the old way was much smoother.... Yes, I suspect this LImitation was added because multi-layered UI 'windows' sometimes get their 'focus' mixed up... but.... can't Steve just fix that issue directly instead of Avoiding the Issue by gimping the UI?
NinjaZeku Posted September 19, 2020 Posted September 19, 2020 It still (sometimes?) works when you click on your profile icon up there, but yes, the Start button functionality - which was not least very useful for quickly checking your Squad's Relics etc - being gone is a bummer. Hek, it even still shows the Start icon / prompt right next to it (when using a controller), except it simply doesn't do anything. Actually, while we're on that, can we just get (at least an option for) the old functionality where the Squad info was fully shown by default, rather than requiring a hover-over (hrrgh) to expand it, even though the UI already reserves empty space for the expanded box anyway? It makes no sense and looks bad.
