Accidentally Made a Kuva Lich? What to do

I've had a X year hiatus. Frame of reference, I haven't played since The Second Dream was brand spankin' new. It feels good to be back. Man, I forgot the heart this community had too. Much love. <3

Anyway, Wife used Mercy. It's super effective! She asks "why's my loot getting stolen. Who's this guy. What's with his weapon. How can I make it stop." And me, I'm clueless. I'm still wondering about Solar Rail Conflicts. Those stopped I guess. I have a lot to catch up on. 

This is the "To-Do List" I've made so she can get loot on Lua again (it's making octavia farming depressing for us). 

1. Do Kuva missions, get some Requiem Relics. 
2. Go to the controlled nodes on Lua to find the correct Requiem Order from killing thralls. 
3. Once order is known, she can go and one shot Lich. 
4. She gets all of the stolen loot, a brand new gun, and we can be on our merry way. 

I hear if you die to it, or get it wrong, Lich levels up and can control another planet? I know the challenge is RNG & Grinding, but I have no road map, and her stress is my stress so that's getting in the way as well. Moral of the story: never show mercy. 

Now that you know my problem: Would someone kindly point me in the right direction, correct my list, or properly inform me? Thank you thank you

That's basically it.  With one correction.   There are 8 requiem mods,  only 3 are needed to kill the Lich.  Killing thralls tells you which 3,  but not the order.  You need to get the order through trial and error. 

 

Kuva weapons are among the strongest in the game right now and are absolutely worth getting.  

 

Also,  if you just want to farm Lua,  you can clear the planet by completing all the Lich nodes on Lua.  Once you finish all the the Lich's nodes on the planet,  the Lich moves on to a different planet and no longer collects taxes from the one you cleared.

If it shows up and you aren't sure about the order yet, and you don't want it to level up, you can knock it's health bar down so that it is staggered (to where you could try your parazon combination of requiem mods) three times, and it will just run off without leveling. This can anger some people in public matches but if you really don't want to level it, this is the way. Keep in mind even if you are going to do this, letting it stick around for a bit can be useful, as it will keep making more thralls for a while that you can mercy for more murmurs if you haven't sent it packing yet.

You can refuse to attempt finisher attacks, and they'll level much slower.

Also worth noting: You can get murmurs to unlock your requiems from lich thralls that are not yours.

As soon as the lich is captured or killed, be aware that you will encounter Kuva larvlings again in grineer missions.

But since patch 28.1, you have to hold the Mercy's key and not simply do a quick mercy move. So you can avoid pretty easily to grind another lich.

That being said, half the kuva liches' weapons are among the best weapons in the game ... but for casual gamers, this requires a lot of farming.

3. Go to Lich Turf to learn which req mods to use/fight lich

• Convert = You get to keep Ephemera if Lich has it.  The Lich becomes an Ally who will randomly show up to help you fight.  You can trade the lich away to others.  You do NOT get his weapon.
• Execute = You get the Ephemera if it has one, You get the weapon,  Lich is dead..  

If you get code wrong or you wait to long your lich will level up and take over more turf.   When the lich levels up so do the guys in the Lich turf.   If you know you dont have the right mods you do not have to try to stab him,  just beat him down 3 times and he should run away.  

As you fight in your own Lich turf your Lich has an aggression meter that grows (you can see in lich screen).  This affects how easily he can show up.   When you fail to sta your lich and he levels up his aggression meter also resets.  Unless your lich is maxed out at Lv5.   Keep this in mind when you start trying to get the sequence right.

If you fight in other people's Lich turf (where your lich has no control) you will gain murmurs WITHOUT pissing off your Lich.  You will also get kuva and req relics from people attempting their Lich and killing thralls.   

Lich levels dont affect anything if you keep a Lich as an ally.   There is no reason to purposely level them up unless you want the challenge lol.   

My current method of Lich farming.....  Use the right warframe to get the correct element on weapon.  Dont use larvaling until it has a weapon you want(if it doesnt have a weapon you want just walk away and do another mission for a new larvaling).....and then....

Help other people with their lichs until I know 2 and HALF of my mods.  Then I break off and go solo or have a friend help as I start actively trying to hunt my Lich.  I use the first 2 mods that I know to begin work on trying to get sequence right while im gaining murmurs to unlock the 3rd.   Having a friend along tends to help make my lichs show up faster.   This method keeps the lich level low.  Usually I take them out at Lv2-3.  After 50+ lichs i dont care about the challenge lol.

Oh your req mods have 3 charges on them when new.   They only consume charges when you successfully kill/capture a Lich.  Once you have drained the 3 charges from a mod they become defiled and useless.   If you goto your mod station though you can squish 4 defiled modes together to make 1 fresh new random req mod. 

When you are low on mods,  just use non-refined relics in the fissures with full squads and when you see ANY mod take it,  then just trade for what you need.  Relics come at a decent rate just from murmur farming.   I have 80+ of each relic and 3 of each mod
