Basically, the video talks about keeping players engaged through proper utilization of tension, pacing, short term, long term rewards, as well as teasing of certain mechanics.
Im by no means a game developer, but i thought of sharing this here, to spark some form of discussion, and maybe think of what can be implemented into the game.

What's it got to say about when you have a community that has a significant subset which demands to be allowed to pay to bypass the grind? Does it mention how to keep people like that engaged?
