Wukong: Immortality in Archwing?

Galoain

Question

Lately I've been struggling on one particular fight: The Jordas Golem.  While I've got a decent handle on the mechanics, I'm  finding that it becomes a battle of attrition between my Amesha's ability to protect me and the electric status procs it throws out burning through my revives.

Since asking for help in Recruitment chat hasn't gone anywhere, I got to wondering if I used my Wukong Prime, would his immortality techniques effectively give me some more revives to work with? Or do those get disabled in Archwing?

Archwing is it's own thing. I think only wisp's flowers work for it but as far as I know only on rj.
That said you shouldn't struggle on the Jordas, especially if it is the normal/non sp mission.
Look at your builds for the archwing and archgun.
I remember doing the whole mission sub 4-5 min last year, when I farmed atlas, and I didn't have all the mods back then and only itzal.
He has ferrite armour and corrosive+fire is the way to go imo.

When they nerf RJ difficulty, they actually buff everything related to space in some way. All archwing missions become extremely easy even in Steel Path.

The element in archwing works differently than in the ground mission. But if you have any archgun with potato, you should be able to kill golem fast. Just shoot those yellow thrusters from behind.

But if you don't have the right equipment or mods, maybe ask help in recruit?

actually the changes to elements only affect RJ. Regular archwing has elemental combinations that are the standard ones.

Maybe this is more of a mechanics or modding issue. Just fly to the back of Jordas and shoot the engines out. I’ve completed the fight multiple times using the larkspur or the imperator vandal. I’m also not sure how you are dying in the Amesha. Your 4 will make you invulnerable until you hit full energy, your three drains energy and slows enemies, and your 1 creates a shield swarm. If that wasn’t enough your two absorbs enemy projectiles and sends out healing pulses. I typically only use the 4 and Jordas is dead before I reach full energy. If you haven’t put potatoes in your arch wing and archgun you should.

Dodge the yellow slime trail he leaves behind, and as soon as he starts casting the electric nova, hit your boosters to zip to the edge of the area to avoid the damage. Also, shoot the missiles that he fires at you, as they do a fair amount of damage.

You don't even receive any damage from that electric nova, just a pushback effect. Those missiles don't do any fair amount of damage.
