Play Steel Path "normally" - get one essence every million years.

Stay afk (literally) in two hours survival - it rains.

I think Steel Path's rewards structure that encourages not playing the game might use some tweaks. 🤔

It is bad design cuz they are tied to eximus. Eximus tend to spawn starting wave 10 and at a good quantity starting 15. You have to get at least to rotation 4 in endless to see them frequently. 1 hour in MoT and I got 8.

However, this is the issue that required SP to begin with. I do not want to spend more than few minutes in a mission, and no more than 20 minutes in endless. We need super steel path now. In any case, steel essence has limited uses. The best they can be used for is Kuva and relics. There are million more efficient ways to obtain both.
 

Unrelated, I am somewhat disappointed in SP difficulty. The level needed to be higher. Nearly everyone who plays this has the tools to go at least 50-100 levels higher. And that is what DE should have done instead of giving mobs extra armor and HP.

I don't afk when I play for 2 hours.... you shouldn't attribute your lazy playstyle to everyone else.

Except steel essence is the most efficient kuva farm and the best way to prep for new PA/unvaultings.

Sounds about right. Especially when it comes to farming Essence for 2+ Hours to get high double Digit amount with a Drop Chance Booster while without Booster, you would get trash during the same time. Which makes Steel Path another Arbitration where it becomes a “do Endless Missions for a while in one go or ignore it” type of place.

The idea is to stack essence and unload them when a new prime frame is dropped so you can farm relics in the fastest way possible. Theoretically, if you have a resource drop booster and a resource drop enhancing frame, you could end up with like 20-30 in 1 hour. More releastically, it is closer to 10-12 an hour.

This same time will be much better spent farming syndicate missions. Also, just running distribution mission, at new relics release is faster and more targeted. Unless you must get the new prime frame on the day it is released. And if you have unlimited time, you can run SP endless back to back. Same as running ESO back to back to back is the best way to farm fully upgraded relics and affinity. Some people do that, but majority do not. it requires major time investment and a highly competent squad. And honestly, pretty boring.

The reward structure still encourages AFK sitting in one spot, a factor contributing to why the Void is now the awful Relic system.

Steel Essence is most efficient when you bring a specific team comp to a specific tile in a specific map and just sit in one spot getting as many Kills/Minute as possible until you get bored. The only thing preventing people at first were boosters not working and trade bans. Those seem resolved now, so it's just off to the races mindlessly farming Kuva. The Steel Path has a good foundation, but it's terribly shallow and the most efficient farm also becomes extremely mind-numbing with no dynamic gameplay.

Try 100-150 an hour _{disclaimer that this is primarily for pc cause console has issues with spawn limits}

Also syndicate farming is capped to 12 missions per day (18 if you have all 6 positive I guess, but that’s a hassle)

Steel Essence is always available to farm for however long you desire, limited only by boredom yourself

If you abuse yourself enough, the drop rate sky rockets, there's a limit to how much a reward is worth though, if the digital costume cost wrist health, they can shove it.

You can optimize solo as well. I am not sure on the rates because I stopped farming when DE buffed the drops.

That khora and nekros combo would still be sleeping/afking with millions of slash viral damage.
