I'll be hyped when DE kills Nightwave completely. Intermission or not, it's all the same. At this point, we've gotten Roar on Mesa before a reliable way to actually farm Umbral Forma....

me, for two reasons

1. the Vitrica looks cool, and I hope that Nihil doesn't fold like a bish and has an interesting fight (unlikely though I reckon).

2. no more glass bois interrupting anything, thank the Void. it's become a meme at this point in my group, and we all want to go back to not having to aim or spam melee on specific enemies that we'd otherwise rinse instantly. I also wanna go back to Steel Path without extra hindrance.

They need to have the entire 5 episodes and the boss fight at the end ready at the moment the season starts. Otherwise nightwave is a failure. I wouldnt be surprised if this was the last new season of nightwave. Systems that require upkeep just dont work with DE and they prove it time and time again.

I am not hyped and nor depressed. I did the first 3-4 I think levels but I rarely play nowadays so it is not a big problem for me. This system is still better than the old alerts but maybe they could bring the alerts back with a new form and with more toleration on timezones so you do not need play 7/24. What the nightwave can offer me I have all that except few mods maybe but not interested in them.

Also, if only the glassmaker weapon implemented at next patch, then only founders are able to reach rank 30.

Hope DE do this, I can’t wait to taste all the salt of posts by some guy who take mastery too seriously .

Won't nightwave still be around? They're just releasing the last part of the story, doesn't mean it's going away.

Pity Wolf is only obtainable with lures. I'm nowhere near getting the Wolf Sledge and it's really slow getting new lures. Considering the incredibly low drop chances of actually getting a weapon part chances are I'll never get the Sledge. As for the end of Nightwave... only thing I'm hyped about currently is not having glass turn up any more.

Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting mechanic for the first couple of months, but it's overstayed.

The glass enemies are annoying and way too frequent. And im tired of hearing the same voice lines from nora over and over.

I just hit rank 90 the other day. So I've got nothing to do for Nightwave until the finale and the next intermission. (Unless DE bumps up the prestige cap again).

I'm hoping DE intend on extending the Nightwave cap, because now I have no way to farm creds, and as a result, will be unable to access the store that exists as a replacement to alerts.

I've been sitting at the cap for awhile now, I play every day and it's not hard to cap it out, I'll miss out on the 7000 from the last crime scene.

I want to buy some stuff from the cred shop but don't want to run out of cred I'll use them at the 11th hour once I know this system is closing down.

The glass in mission are a pain I don't gain from them and they destroy stuff like fish animals you might be after if you accidentally kill them and BOOM! there goes everything in the blast zone.

I'm ignoring the Daily and Weekly challenges but I'm still completing them without even trying.

I don't think it's better, but that doesn't even matter. What matters is that there is no reason they couldn't coexist, and that would be better than just having one.

Personally, i still wouldn't bother with nightwave even then, but at least i would still have alerts so i could have something to do.

Only reason i'm happy about NW ending is because glass enemies are very annoying and they don't even drop decent loot(glass standing), Can't wait for whatever DE has next.

Finally the glass will go away and I can play the game normally.

And yeah I just know there's gonna be a bunch of ppl complaining that they took a 2 year break and now they can't get the rewards.

There is a catch up mechanic.  I started this season when the 3rd scene was just available and maxed my rank in about 3 days just doing NW things.  Now there is even more to be done, you shouldn't have any issues if you just grind the challenges and get the makeup ones to show.

I honestly would like another proper nightwave afterwards as intermission is boring since it has no story or random encounter

I would be excited for the end if I believed we were close to the end...

1. First we need Part 5 of Glassmaker.
2. Then we need to wait for them to announce the season's actual end date.
3. Then we need to wait for said end date.
4. Then we need to wait through the gap between the end of this proper NW season and the beginning of its following intermission season.

Meanwhile, anyone remotely diligent about doing the tasks is now capped and will have no access to any of the NW store's offerings for another month or so. Hope you remembered to save a stockpile of credits near the end in case anything new or interesting shows up.
