YARP (Yet Another Retruning Player) looking for some advice and a clan please

Hi,

Played Warframe when it first came out, logged over 500 hrs, got most if not all of the frames and weapons then decided to have a rest......that was 6 years ago 🙄. Got back into the game and found that 'one or 2'😝 things had changed since then been trying to fill in some of the gaps (eg unlocked all the planets but didnt have the jjunctions completed). Also been trying to do some of the quests, and get a bit of rep with some of the factions. What I wondered is should I be doing something else or is this the best way to go for now? Also would like to find a large well established friendly clan if any are taking on new members. Thanks for any help you can give me😁

Welcome back. Definitely work on finishing all Junctions, so you unlock the Arbitration missions. You also should complete War Within/Sacrifice if you haven't already done so.

 

I personally focused more on finishing quests primarily, and then doing open world stuff like Cetus/Fortuna to build up for the Amps and various stuff. Also good to go through the Marketplace to pick up the various Warframe/weapon blueprints that are available with credits, so you can work on building/leveling them for Mastery.

 

Syndicates all have unique weapons and the components for all of the Archwing weapons, so definitely worth working on those reps as well. Good luck :D

As for how to progress, I'd take your time try to clear all the main story quests;

Natah -> Second Dream -> War Within -> Chains of Harrow -> Apostacy Prologue -> Sacrifice -> Chimera Prologue -> Ropalyst -> Rising Tide -> Erra -> New War. 

then maybe look at the currently un-vaulted primes and Kuva liches, Helminth and maybe railjack.

Void keys were replaced by a relic system.

 

As for things to learn, check out the wiki for a look at Damage 3.0 and Melee 2.95, a lot changed recently, but I'm not certain how every thing was 6 years ago.

Some item sare retired now, so may be worth a lot, things like arcane helmets.

@TheArcSetThanks, also a good list for me to work on and good to know which order to do the quests in as I have them all to do. If the offer of the clan invite is still open I'd be happy to take it.
