I just wanted to support RayTracing and DLSS

Well, Steve has been developing some great new lighting systems to be added into the game someday for quite a while now.

Take a look:

Imo its best for DE to focus on improving existing content and fixing bugs while RTX/DLSS gets more mature.
Once more high/mid/low end gpus supports it (unlike now, which is for the top gap of players, probably 20% or something) then maybe DE can opt to add, they focus on what brings more profit.

Raytracing is overhyped poop train like PhysX in 2005 to sell more cards to fools like you who fell for marketing.

Your welcome.

Remember all those games that supported physX?
I don’t remember either.

Crysis remastered can support raytracing right now. And you dont even need a special card for it.

that's all there is to know about the exclusivity of this thing.

I agree that it's being hyped for marketing on Nvidia's part but the sad thing is that, these companies know they're a century of R&D away from touching real time ray tracing in consumer grade hardware. Look at how some folks are starting to hype 8K gaming when it's not even possible to get 4K gaming running smoothly on the flagship 3080. Meanwhile I'm still using 1080p monitor until I see 240mhz @  4K ultra settings/DXR enabled gameplay in MFS2020. lol I'll be long dead before then.

It looks good and it seems like it can cut down time when making new tilemaps.
