11 cool ideas to improve gameplay

Hello again, guys 😀. Today I will tell about my ideas. From UA with love. So.

Sighting weapon actualization (Step 1)

Aura «The Lone Ranger»

·         When there are no allies in the synthesis radius, the damage of the sighting weapon is increased by 200% (absolute bonus).

·         Not working on AOE-weapons, sniper rifles, melee weapons. Only sighting weapons, looks like Karak or Sybaris.

Sighting weapon actualization (Step 2)

We have combo for melee. But we haven’t combo for guns. I figured out how to fix this.

Headshot-combo

·         When a player shoots an enemy in the head, the combo counter increases by 1.

·         But! If the player misses an enemy, the combo counter decreases by 1.

·         Total Combo: x12 = 60 hits

·         Not working on AOE-weapons, sniper rifles, melee weapons. Only sighting weapons, looks like Karak or Sybaris.

Headshot-combo mods

·         «Head Hunter» - mod for Sighting Rifle. +20% Critical Strike Chance per Headshot-Combo Counter (240% max).

·         «Headache» - mod for Sighting Rifle. +20% Status Chance per Headshot-Combo Counter (240% max).

·         Focus-perks and mods for combo duration at the discretion of the developers.

Grenades

Why are there no grenades in the Warframe? Just press «G» and throw it!

·         Explosive grenade. Just booom! A lot of impact damage!

·         Gas Grenade. Creates a gas cloud for 120 seconds. Mobs cannot shoot through the gas and walk slower.

·         Stasis grenade. Mobs within an explosion radius (8 m) are suspended in the air for 10 seconds.

·         And other…

Crafting equipment.

Steel Path 2.0

The steel path needs actualization. Pressing one button on the Ophelia is not a gameplay that is enjoyable. I think you will agree with this.

Step 1: Void Fissure

·         Adding void Fissure on the Steel Path.

Step 2: Rotation of rewards

·         There is a 10% chance of getting double the relic reward in regular missions on Steel Path and 10% (+ 5% per rotation; 100% max) in endless missions.

Step 3: Credits

·         The higher the level of mobs on the steel path, the more credits the player gets. The norm is 10 million in 3 hours.

Step 4: Ratings

·         The ratings are buried too deep, so few people are interested. It is worth showing the TOP of the best right next to the mission window on the star map. This will spur people's interest in competing for glory.

·         Only applies to endless missions.

·         The best players should be rewarded with platinum and credits.

·         A single absolute rating for the mission, as well as separate rating categories for the warframe. There are many players, many warframes and many missions. This will distribute the players evenly across the star map. Everyone will have a real chance to get a prize in one way or another. But only 1 per day is the best result.

Step 5: Ophelia fixing

·         Remove basement on Ophelia. This is bad gameplay.

Study of Enemies

Study of Enemies is a new mechaniс. This mechanic is an extension of the standard Codex.

·         You must kill enemies in order to study them. Each level of research increases damage to a specific enemy.

·         The research is unlimited, but the complexity increases.

·         Level 1 research = 1% increased damage.

·         The number of enemies that need to be killed increases in arithmetic progression. It is calculated by the formula An = A1 + d (n - 1), where A1 is the initial number, d is the added value, and n is the level number.

·         For example, if each level increases the required number of killed enemies by 25 (d = 25) and starts counting from 50 (A1 = 50), then increasing the research level from 99 to 100 (n) will require killing 50 + 25 * (100 - 1) = 2525 mobs (An) of the same type on Steel Path. This will give + 100% bonus to damage for a specific type of mobs.

·         And if we want to calculate the total number of kills required to reach level 100 using the formula Sn = A1 * An / 2 * n, then we get 50 * 25/2 * 100 = 62500 kills of a specific enemy (Sn). For example, Grineer Bombard.

·         Kills are counted towards research only on Steel Path and only if the enemy was killed by you personally.

·         Only 1 creature can be researched at a time.

·         Only targets that have been fully researched by the Codex Scanner can be researched.

It will also encourage players to spend more time on the Steel Path and spread evenly across the star map. Or at least in the most interesting places.

Bonus - Research Hologram

·         A terminal for the Orbiter, which displays the current active research as a hologram of the being studied.

It will make a good decoration for the Orbiter.

Archwing actualization

·         Adding void Fissure on the Archwing Missions.

Turrets

Turrets – is a new mechanic. Passive defense for endless missions.

Mechanic

·         Turrets are installed in the main weapon slot. Actualization the secondary and archwing weapons.

·         Turrets are actually the main weapon, so they can use any mods of the main weapon depending on the type of turret.

·         Turrets of any type must be manually charged by the owner or ally. The player approaches the turret and loads it with ammunition. This is to avoid AFK farming.

·         Turrets have armor, shields, and durability. Mobs attack turrets.

·         The owner can repair their turrets, restoring their durability.

·         If the turret is destroyed, it can only be reinstalled after 60 seconds. Installation takes time.

Turrets types

·         Stationary automatically. The turret is installed by the owner for several seconds, after which it fires at enemies in the attack radius until it runs out of ammo. High damage, but limited viewing angle.

·         Stationary controlled. The owner sets up a stationary turret for several seconds, after which he can shoot from it at opponents. Increased damage, but limited viewing angle.

·         Self-propelled automatic. The spider drone follows the owner and attacks opponents. Low damage, but can attack in any direction. Can receive a command to hold a position. Needs manual recharge.

Turrets models

·         Machine Gun Turret (just machine gun)

·         Headshot Turret (sniper rifle)

·         Laser Turret (beam weapon)

·         Rocket Turret (explosive weapon)

·         Archery Turret (bow / crossbow weapon)

·         And other… Many other turrets.

Turrets – is good. Turrets – is future.

Sandbox

Sandbox – is a new game mode. You can configure game and upgrade rewards.

·         Sandbox game mode is available on any mission on the star map.

·         Various modifiers can be applied to the game, which will complicate the gameplay, but increase the count of rewards (credits AND resources).

·         Sandbox mode is only available on Steel Path.

·         The player can join a random sandbox game if the owner has allowed public access.

·         The player can launch Sandbox right away, join a random team, or queue up to search for allies.

Modifiers – multipliers (example)

·         One life (drop +100%)

o   Without resurrection (drop +100%)

·         Basic health and shields only (drop +50%)

·         Mobs speed +25 / 50 / 75% (drop +10 / 20 / 30%)

·         Mobs accuracy +50 / 75 / 100% (drop +25 / 50 / 75%)

·         Number of mobs +10 / 20 / 30 (drop +15 / 30 / 45%)

·         Only rifle (drop +100%)

·         Only secondary (drop +200%)

·         Only melee (drop +50%)

·         Only archwing weapon (drop +100%)

·         No companions (drop +50%)

·         No hoaxers (drop +50%)

·         No mods (drop +1000%)

·         Mobs start lever +100 … 9999 (drop +10 … 500%)

·         And others… Many modifiers.

New game mode: Barricades

Barricades is a new endless game mode. You must not allow the enemy to break into the defended area.

·         Barricades are available both on Grineer / Corpus maps and in open areas.

·         All enemies attack from one side.

·         If 10 enemies are simultaneously in the defended zone, the mission is considered failed.

·         In open locations, you have to protect the gates of cities. Missions - Grineer / Corps / Enslaved objects.

·         Any faction (except the infected) can be attacked by another faction.

·         Cities can be attacked by any faction, including the infected.

·         The defended zone is located a few meters behind the barricade line.

Solo game progress saving

If I want to see level 9999 mobs, then I have to sit in a solo game for about 10 hours. That's quite a lot.

·         Solo progress can be saved for later sequel.

·         You can save progress on several missions at once.

·         The player returns to the game with the equipment configuration in which he started it.

·         If the configuration has been changed, the system will try to rebuild it automatically (via confirmation). If this is not possible, the system will display a list of missing components. Appearance items are not counted.

Actualization of chakrams

Do you remember the heroine of our childhood, Xena? I don’t know about you in the West, but we often showed it on TV. Xena was a cool baby! She threw her chakram, and it always ricocheted at enemies.

However, in the realities of Warframe, the chakram throw looks something like this.

I want to fix this.

·         The chakram always ricochets between 7 opponents.

·         If you throw a chakram against a wall or floor, it always ricochets at opponents.

·         Chakrams fly 50% faster and further.

·         Modifications to increase the speed of the chakram and the number of ricochets should be removed. Or you need to add some extra slots specifically for these mods. If the player speeds up the throw (heavy attack), the speed of the chakram and increases the number of targets, then he loses at least 3 slots! It's too much. I think that's why the chakram is not relevant.

I like chakrams. Please improve it.
